Losing too fast?
I lost 18 in my first 2 weeks and dr was happy I wouldn't stress too much as long as you are getting your proteins in.

Dry skin
I use cocoa butter for the skin and Carmex for my lips. I do a homemade body scrub that helps up the moisture and helps get the dry stuff off. And for hangnails burt's bees lemon butter cuticle cream it's amazing!

Ok Women?
Had a c section 7 years ago and sleeve was a cake walk compared to the c section. My dr even said sleeve would be easier.

First stall
Mine was at 3 weeks post op and lasted like a week. I also had my period so I don't know if that factored into it. But I lost 10 pounds.

I NEED SOME ADVICE PLZ HELP!
No problem. Gnc has them. It's like 5.00 for a 20 oz bottle. They are kinda different but great protein in a pinch. They are also lactose free.

I NEED SOME ADVICE PLZ HELP!
Have you tried the isopure drinks? There is 40g of protein in them. They aren't thick like a shake but like a Gatorade. There are tons of flavors grape seems to be the most mild in flavor. They do leave your mouth dry and a funny feeling on your teeth but I lived off of those after surgery as I couldn't stomach the shakes.

Easy Way Out? Really?
I couldn't agree more. I have a fat friend who I am bigger than tell me every reason not to do it. Even offered for me to talk to her ex who had the sleeve 2 years ago and only lost 60 pounds and is still really big. She began to do research online as if she was going to have the sleeve and then tried to educate me about what was to come. Now she has jumped on a weightloss kick and is trying to get in shape but she doesn't work out and she eats like trash. But all this came about when I was close to being sleeved. I'm a month out and down 30 pounds and still dropping. She sees how little and slow I eat now. Even went so far to say her food had no flavor when we went out to eat so she didn't touch her dinner and said she was good with the Soup she ate. She tries to be supportive but at the end of the day I was always the fatter of the friends and soon I will leave her in the dark and she will be the fatter one. I also have a few friends who say I didn't need this and just needed to work out or tone up. I don't know if its because I am tall but I carry my weight well but I was not happy at 340 I have bad back problems shuck haven't bothered me since surgery. I was lucky and was in good health but just big as hell but that doesn't mean 5,10,15 years down the road I wouldn't have health problems. This was the best decision I have ever made. If you went through the process of deciding on surgery and you have tried everything possible then be confident in your choice. Your friend will have to understand either they support you or they need to take a step back because you are doing what you think is best for you. The first fews weeks are hard but everyday it gets better. Wait till you feel good and human again and then deal with her. Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.

January Newbies ! Progress ?
- Isopure drinks
I was sleeved 1/17 so we are 2 weeks apart. It will get better. I love plan water and would drink it all day but its hard. I can't do the red g2 but the blue and purple no problem. I'm to the point where I am going to set a timer on my phone every 15 min to sip. Have you tried to thin your shake some maybe it will go down better. I know some here said they put the isopure into a big cup of ice like sonic use and it waters down and they sip all day.- Isopure drinks
You have to play with the flavors and find which you can stomach. The apple melon (green) isn't too bad but it's tart. The grape (purple) is the most mild IMO. The blue raspberry isn't bad but it's tart. I couldn't stand the punch, or the peach mango. The orange wasn't too bad but it didn't smell good in the bottle. How far out are you? The shakes don't fill me. I can get in all my protein but at times I struggle with my fluids. Water doesn't go down well for me but I can drink g2 like its air and I can't do crystal light it's too sweet for me. It does get better. Just keep sipping. Good luck.- sorry guys, for ladies only
Same exact thing happened to me at surgery . And I just feel blah right now.- Isopure drinks
Just a heads up. It's like drinking a sponge. You will get instant dry mouth and a weird feeling on your teeth but its normal.- Isopure drinks
Gnc has them. I also found them at HEB but only one flavor. My gym (24hour) sells them too.- Steri Strips?
Mine look like that. Some I have to feel for because I can't see them by just looking.- Restaurants...help!
Fish is good. Check the resturant online to review the menu before you go.- January Newbies ! Progress ?
My my fitness pal name is kkbroom- GNC Isopure drink and mouth/teeth after taste
Yeah they are like a liquid sponge and leave a yuck feeling on your teeth. But great protein.- How long does it last...
I was sleeved the 17th of jan and I'm stalled too. It's no fun. Hoping we pass this stall soon.- Signs that my pouch is full? and other questions
