I had my surgery on a Monday and I drove (all the way across las vegas) to my post op appt on that Friday. I even went to Walmart after my appt. I was tired but had no problem.

I was able to drive after 1 week as long as I wasn't on pain meds.

Came home from hospital after 1.5 days and drove next day with no muscle or pain issues. You are just not supposed to drive until you are off narcotics, which i stopped taking after the day of surgery.

My dr said 10 days. Main thing is that I wasn't on meds still. I didn't take my meds after few days and I did drive but only to take my daughter to school which is less than a mile away. If I had to go any further than the school my mom would pick me up or take my daughter to her appointment. Getting in and out if the car was kinda painful at first too.
