  1. Def see a difference! Keep it up!
  2. My ONLY regret, is that I didn't do it sooner!
  3. Your further out then me, but I broke my stall by doing the "boot camp". If you search this site you can find the thread, but it's basically protein...protein...protein! You can also have green leafy veggies, AFTER you eat the protein. & you must hydrate, shoot for min 64 oz of water/day! Good luck!
  4. Thanks everyone! Not really sad, just a little disappointed! I know it will happen! Glad hubby is liking the new healthier lifestyle & he is losing right along side of me & feeling awesome....not to mention looking Awesome!! :-)
  5. Today is out 37th Anniversary!! I've been married to this man since I was 15 & he was 19...& he has been with me thru thick & thin more times than I can count! He has no fully embraced our new eating & living style! I know I am blessed...but I Am also a little sad! I soooo wanted to be in Onderland by this day! I'm soooo close...I can SEE it...& it's Beautiful!!! I just can't reach it quiet yet!! :-(
  6. Yes, BJs bariatics is where I ordered from
  7. Ordered a sample pkg today, hope their yummy!
  8. From what I've seen, this surgery is recommended for pts with under 100 bs to loose (some surgeons say 50-75)...so if you need to loose 150 I think you may be disappointed. Also, this IS restricticting the stomach...but not as much as the sleeve, & it's new...no studies on how well those "stapled" spots hold? JMO
  9. The sleeve it a tool...not a cure! I still have the food addiction...it's a daily battle!! But you know what to do...protein, protein, protein & water, water, water!! Protein fills me quicker anyway! Sorry, but there's no "easy" way out....you gotta make a life style change! I also HATE exercise...don't think that will EVER change....so I try doing fun things like walking my dogs in the park, or with my hubby, daughters or grandkids! Good luck...you CAN do this...you have the tool!!
  10. & thanks for starting this thread TES, until I actually sit & calculated it I was frustrated....but I don't think 2.6 lbs/wk is bad! I will take it! Thanks for changing my mind set!!
  11. Oh Wow! What a nightmare! Glad your doing better!
  12. 17 weeks post surgery, avg 2.6 lbs/week. Avg calorie intake 500-700/day
  13. You may be right...but I just think what about the people who are still big that are being dissed...not fair!
  14. I have given a lot of thought about this & wondered the same thing...but I agree with egnimachick....I haven't changed! It seems like you always got attention....so you haven't changed either. & I do NOT find it "awesome". Yes, it is nice receiving compliments....but if they only want to speak to me or be nice because I'm smaller...then their too shallow & I don't need their attention! Maybe I'm just being hormonal!! :-/
  15. Have you noticed people acting differently to you as your losing weight? For example, men are speaking to me on stores & opening/holding doors for me. Strangers start conversations with me in waiting rooms! Very seldom did these things happen before my weight loss, & certainly not consistently! Why now? I'm still the same person?? Kinda ticks me off!! :-/
  16. It gets easier..my surgery was 12/17 & & I can take normal drinks now, & larger ones when I'm thirsty! Wouldn't say Gulps...but ok,
  17. Couldn't resist...made them tonight! Very Yummy! Very light & fluffy inside, not dense at all like I thought might be! Thanks again for sharing!
  18. Yay you! I hope to be the same way soon! I already think it was the best decision of my life!!
  19. Amen to all the above! I'm 4 months out & not reached 50 lbs! & when have you EVER lost that much that fast before?? Just stop watching the scale & keep up the good work!
  20. Thanks! Sounds yummy!
  21. I am...doesn't really help me with weight loss ( I was hoping it would! :-/ ) but does help with tiredness
  22. I think Atkins is more on target for us? JMO
  23. Check the batteries...mine did that when the batteries were going bad! Did make me feel good though! ;-/
