  1. Everyone is different! I felt fine after just a few days! I had no complications, never took pain meds, & only needed nausea medication immediately when I woke up. I was. Out shopping on day 3
  2. Hmm...I don't like curry...but I bet it would be good without it! Thanks for posting...never thought of avocado & eggs!
  3. Sorry, they were on an end cap! Right as I walked in the door, over by where they prepare foods...like guacamole!
  4. Woohoo....I'm so excited..I JUST found these at HEB after searching since the original post!! I LOVE them! I just had a wheat one with tuna...yummy!! I also had one this morning, cinnamon one with PB on it for breakfast!! yummy too! This is my new bread/crackers!! Thank you soooo much for posting this & letting me know about them!!
  5. Oh wow! I thought it was just me!! :-(
  6. Nope...I'm 5 1/2 mo out & still have constipation issues! I hink it's because we don't eat much so things move slower! I promise...after today (don't ask!!) I'm going to start taking a stool softener every other day! :-/
  7. Oh Wow...how Scary! Glad you are all ok!
  8. These are feelings we all faced, it comes from years of dieting & failing! Good news is this is NOT a diet, it's a life style change! It's a tool to use to change your life for the better..use it as such & you will do great! Good luck on your journey!
  9. I am Post-op....5 1/2 months...I HAVE walked the walk....& I totally agree! We ALL were told of the risks...we agreed to the surgery! If you didn't fully understand the risks..than shame on you for having 85% of your stomach removed without fully understanding! It is NOT easy...but I would def do it again!
  10. I am 5 mo out & the only issue I have had is dizziness sometime...but I have a tendency to have low BP when I loose weight. I can eat anything, just smaller amounts. I am a "slow" loser...prob because my age & the years of dieting has screwed up my metabolism...but I AM loosing! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself!
  11. Onederland is into the 100's & OUT of the 200's!! I can't wait!
  12. How much we're you eating when loosing well! I don't think I eat enough either...I can only get in around 800
  13. I'm 5 months & that's about all I CAN get in! I get my protein in...but I do have to drink a protein shake to do it!
  14. The good news is you WILL loose weight & prob pretty fast with your BMI. That should boost your ego & keep you motivated for quiet awhile. Yes, you can blow it & abuse your sleeve....but you should not ever be able to get where you are now. Just stay as focused as you are & you should do great! You WILL slip....we ALL do, & the good thing is the sleeve has its own way of reminding you it's there...& get back on track...just learn to listen to it! Good luck & keep us posted! :-)
  15. Man...I have been stalled for 2-3 wks...right at the borderline of Onderland! This suks!! Ok...going back to bootcamp to hopefully jump start myself & get thru the gates!! :-/
  16. Doing it again for the second time!! :-) This time sending to Oklahoma for the people who lost everything in the tornado's!
  17. Walmart! They are life savers! & I order reg meals & bring them home & hubby appreciates them for lunch the next day!
  18. Yes, you had dumping! Hopefully it won't continue!
  19. No, I didn't have a preop diet either...adjusted nicely & have had no issues!
  20. I'm 52, sleeved 12/17/12 & doing great!
  21. I got a big zip up type robe, & I wore it home
  22. I hear you...I've been fighting to get into Onederland for a few weeks now...soooooo close & yet sooooo far!! :-(
  23. I would suggest you get an app (like my fitness pal) so you can keep track of e erything you put in your mouth...it MAKES you be accountable! Then do the bootcamp (search it on here) it will get you back on target. & finally, refocus & remember why you did this in the first place. Simply reboot yourself & start again! You CAN do this!!
  24. I agree with Laura...physically YES, it would be great! Emotionally....only you guys can answer that question!
