I would like to know too. I am 1 week post op and thought I'd be feeling better however I was given 6 weeks off by my doctor so it must be a bit longer...

Everyone is different! I felt fine after just a few days! I had no complications, never took pain meds, & only needed nausea medication immediately when I woke up. I was. Out shopping on day 3

It took me about 1 week to recover and I was back to work in a jiffy. :)

It took me about 3 weeks to recover and have enough energy to make it through a work day. Even after 3 days, I remember still being pretty tired. First week was in the hospital because of a couple complications. I have a desk job, but still didn't feel like sacrificing my health by returning too early. All is well now.

Everyone is WAY different! I had my surgery last Wednesday and was back to work this Tuesday (and felt great!)

First few day were hell! By 1 week post op I felt 100%. Problem is getting fluids in while returning to normal life.

I had surgery May 1, was out shopping and gardening in May 3. I didn't go back to work until the 13th though easily I could have gone back a week sooner.

Wow that's crazy itsme! My doctor doesn't even discharge from the hospital until day 4,,, And was cautioned about taking it easy while there.....
