    Rating protein powders

I have to say, I'm sticking with my Ensure High Protein (now Ensure Active) 25g protein and it's ready made in individual to go bottles. So easy to take with me when I travel or just to grab and go every morning. And, they taste good!! I watch for sales in grocery stores and CVS, so I keep a nice stock of them at home. Walmart seems to be cheapest place though. They are honestly the only protein shakes I like and a year and a half later I'm still enjoying one every morning.

    Protein Shake Blues :(

The only one I can drink is Ensure High Protein. I have it every morning

    Isolation

I also choose not to tell anyone at work for this reason and because it's none of their business. Since I never opened the conversation with them they realize that it's not a topic for discussion with me. Will they talk behind my back? Yes...but they were going to anyway. Now I just don't have to be part of it. Don't get me wrong..I have some good friends at work who would be supportive, but they are outnumbered by gossiping women who are in everyone's business and I don't partake in that b.s.
  4. I was gagging on the Protein Shakes too..then I found the Ensure High Protein shakes. 25 g protein and approx 200 calories. They taste much better to me.

    I dont want anything!

I had problems with all Protein mixes...premixed ones were much easier for me. Muscle milk lite was easiest for me to drink. ,(pour into mug though) Counted on them and Cannon Fit and Easy Greek yogurt to get me by. Recently I found Ensure Extra Protein shakes..not cheap but easier and tastier for me to drink. Appt with NUT tomorrow ....gonna show one to her and see if she approves.

    Sick of the attention

I have ignored the " how much have you lost question" every time I have been asked. I think it's like asking a woman in her 50's how old she is...it's rude and it shouldn't be done. Most obese people don't advertise their actual weight on a daily basis....so why would they want to discuss it with others now? If people want to say something it would be better to say your looking good and move on. If we want to offer more info we will.
