Yes Candice it's a spiral but not honeybaked - everyone says the costco is just as good - I don't know - I had a slice and I don't think it's as good - but it will be ok.. Turkey in the oven - we are going to eat around 3 - it should be done at 2 - waiting for gd #1 to come home a peel tatoes - and everything is done - well except the green bean thingie - but Melissa is making it - cuz I don't care for it :0) Karla - How many lbs is your turkey - it should be ok - I forgot about brining - I should have done that it's suppose to make for a tender bird... Well just a quick ck in - I have 1:20 til the gang shows up at 1 - think I will have some coffee :0).. The turkey will take 3 hrs - but gotta warm the ham - so will do that 1st - then cook the turkey - I have only one oven

Candice - Thanksgiving is tomorrow - the last thrusday of the month :0).. For those us us cooking - we will be making pies and such today.. Kids got here at 10:35 - I was just sitting down to the computer and saw them pile out of the car.. Love it on the Mom front - see what pple get for being stingy DS well I think now a days all our kids are spoiled brats !!! I think we all give them way too much and plus times are so diff - I surely wouldn't want to be growing up in these times. Karla On bringing the groceries in - well I went to costco and had to bring that in all by myself - not much so no biggie - but then when I got back from BIG grocery shopping - little mr andrew didn't get up to help me - and I had TONS of stuff... So don't feel like the lone ranger - it's one of those sucky things about being single - and hell my cart was full and the stupid box boys at Staters never ask would you like help out to the car... Up where my Sis and DS live they have a store called Save Mart - they are the most friendliest and helpful you can have just a gallon of milk and they ask you if they can help you out - the are the ultimate example of great service - I want to video tape them and give it to Stater Bros to watch and learn how to treat their customers..

Back from the gym - drank a cup of coffee (I don't have a set bed time for 2 weeks ;0) and it went down (the pickle) - Had a good work out - I think I will be sore by Wed.. Just a quick ck in - Went to gym - did 4 miles - came home showered dressed went to Costco - got turkey & ham etc came home put that up -then went to Winco my local market but they didn't have any dressing - so left and went to Stater Bros - got that stuff put up - ate a sweet pickle too fast - if you want to be stuck eat a sweet pickle to fast - I need to eat something before gym in 45 minutes but don't think I will - that means sucky work out - CBL

Karla - Our schools use to be open on Wed but I think cuz so many miss school that day that now it's a holiday so they don't get shorted on the $$ - Yes it makes sense to have it off - Karri school is closed all week - that's even a better idea.. I know what you mean about not feeling like you had a day off - that's why I am going to like my furlough fridays - I will have an extra day for me.. Kids will be here Wed ... I got up at 6:30 and am drinking my coffee - I was telling Phyl on Sat that here you live in some small little town in MT and have fresh roasted coffee and we live in a city and don't think we do -:biggrin: I think I am going to have to goolge it as find out if we do have a place like that I want to try it... since I am becoming a more than just morning coffee person - When we were in PS at Starbucks - Phyl found me some decaf of the instant coffee - so I got a small pack and will try it .. Since for the next 2 weeks I can stay up as late as I want - I probably wont try it till I go back to work.. Well I need to get butt in gear - I want to hit the gym this morning since I didn't go over the weekend and will have it again tonite .. Hey Gang !!! I finally got of the computer - turned it on after Eva left about 11 a.m. - but then I read - crocheted - watched a little tv - took a 1/2 nap - fixed dinner (still on the stove in the pressurer cooker - stew meat to make tender w/brown gravy over rice when its done) took a bath (I rarely take baths am a shower girl) then sprayed my self the the body oils that I got when we were at the bath junkie (you can make your own scents) I got powder puff/clean and even got the same scent in some doggie fufu spray - brushed them and sprayer them and we smell just wonderfull.. Karla - Scary about the bear - the goats I would have done the same - and I too may have gone outside - and cuz you did you must have though no one was there ... You just went to investage :0) Sheba HATED the pet carrier - but did ok - once Eva got her I forgot about her - was ready to go p/u Phyl and called her she had to remind me of Sheba... Oh I felt bad - picked her up then came home dropped her off and headed for Phyls She made us a beautiful earrings/necklace set from her new hobbie - beading (Phly - post the pics here) Sheba fine and doesn't hate me :0) I love the farm house - but omg the colors of those rooms and it's the best price and paintings not a big deal - I like #2 the best - but like #3 too - I know what you mean about bringing the groceries in - I hate that part of food shopping!!! My guess with the howling is that they heard a siren or other high pitched noise that maybe you couldn't hear (aliens - whats that movie with Richard Dryefus) lol.. I think if it was a person they would just bark not howl.. I am lol at the aliens - But gf why did you go outside - it's something I might do too - but not a good thing if someone was out there. GF you got me thinking about that coffee now - I want some - I am going to have to google it and see if we have any place that does that... Can't let her outside - she'll drink from the pool - the cat likes salt Water.. Now she's crying about something and she never cries.. I think I should have slept till 6 - then I wouldn't have to deal with this but wanted to get up earlier - last minute touches on the house and I hate rushing.. Not much to report - dinner ended up being Pasta & shrimp 200 cal for the pasta and 100 for the shirmp - 50 for the butter - it was a good dinner and I ate the whole 2 oz of pasta ;0) cbl

Karla - I'm not sure either - that (bedroom) or smoking - you do the same thing ;0)... I have never had fresh roast - sounds good.. It's ok to be a coffee snob - I know some wine snobs (not you phyl) but my bosses wife - friends don't let freinds drink white zindfindel... I just got stuck on a black berry - went to the store and got some fruit for a lite dessert tomorrow after we get back from Palm Springs Eva from my mentor thread is coming to visit - going to meet Phyl in Palm Springs for dinner - and thought I should have something in the fridge in case we get the munchies when we get back to the house - so got raspberries - blueberries - blackberries - strawberries - walnuts and some sf vanila yogurt - I think I will have some tonite :0) and stuff to make breakfast - I will do major food shopping on Monday in preperation for Turkey day.. Andrew did a GREAT job on cleaning even dusted & polished the furniture. He's such a good kid... I truly have been blessed - he hasn't been that bad - I would say 8th grade and maybe freshman year he was a real smart mouth boy but all in all he's a great kid... Karla - how old is DD#5 - she no longer lives at home does she - doesn't she live at college.. Remember when you were in love - did you want to hang with mom & dad or w/BF.. I missed the part about sitting on the turkey -lol.... I do grilled cheese with the sara lee lite no problem nor a ham or turkey sandwich - but that's all made with deli meat - I have even had bpj no problem - I think it was the dense meat. I was never a big sandwich eater - we at home anyway - ya we would go out for lunch and I love a good club sandwich - but they aren't anything I miss to terribly - I can say that every now and then I want a Ciro's submarine - to me that's a sub I LOVE THEM... Well I know that there is no way in God's green earth that I could eat one today... Ciro's has the best dressing - I guess I could eat just the inners - but that's not the same without the crusty bread.. And I bet you 10 to 1 that neither the zuchinne nor taco salad is good calorie wise - I eat the fried zuchinne cuz it's easy to eat on the road - plus when you add the dressing I think it's like 400 cal if not more - Ok I just went and looked up calories - that taco salad is 970 Your hamburger was 610 zuchinne 330 w/dressing 110 = 440 (i'm pretty damn good arent' I - I know my calories) the best thing at Carls is the char broiled ck salad 250 with balsamic dressing 35 cal - if you get ranch then add 220 for 470.. A kids hamburger is 230 calories Yes if you didn't get a good arm one - it can give you a bad reading and you are suppose to take it the very 1st thing in the a.m as soon as you get out of bed. I got botox once - no one even noticed and I couldn't move my forehead - It was hard to put on mascara.. but I might try it again by a real doc - I was getting facial from this chick who was a pa who took a class and I think she didn't do a good job - hell the first set of shots didn't do much and she had to do a touch up, Nothing wrong with being vain - I am pretty vain myself..

Well Gf you are a young 60+ person - I know some of those Red Hat Groups can be a bit stuff and like I said you are younger in spirit than most pple in your age bracket.. Yesterday went to lunch w/a gf I had salad the day before so didn't want that - so decided on a patty melt - it's the first sandwich I have ordered out since I was banded - had a couple bite of the bread - but ate just the inside (meat that wasn't that tasty & onions & cheese) I wanted french fries w/ranch dressing as my side - but I didn't order it - I ordered the fruit - banana's and blue berries.. My gf was impressed - but truth be told - I could not have eaten the bread and meat all - it's funny I have had sandwiches - I have grilled cheese at home (lite bread 2% cheese) and a turkey or ham or bp sandwich and have had no problems - but I guess it was the hamburger patty which is more dense..
