I'm here still in my pj's haven't left the house or done a damn thing all day well I did get the xmas gifts out of the trunk and put in my room - and wrote down addresses - took a 2 hr nap and just fed the dogs and am cooking some spinach to go with the left overs from last night.. coffee sounds good - may go make a cup - it's cold 54 ;0) and a storm is coming in suppose to be 68 tomorrow and then 63 and rain the rest of the week - I will get to wear my boots and sweaters next week and to the xmas party tomorrow nite My dogs are right up under me when pple are here and when we have gone to Joseph's they are under my feet 24/7.. right not they just ate so they are full and sleeping

Good Morning Gang I got to sleep in this morning - in fact if bear hadn't woke me up I might still be a sleep.. Phyl - Thanks you are too sweet - dinner was my normal dinner thought you and Earl would love to eat what I eat on a normal night ;0) - I like it :0) enough to eat it for 29 months - I do variations to the fish but - it's my dinner and it's easy.. I was just thinking when I 1st woke up I should have made Earl a little bag to take home - Well it's it the fridge (I don't like cold choc) I had what was on the little plate last night but no more - I wanted more - but like I said I don't like cold choc so I am safe for now :0) I know the curve you are speaking about - I have seen a couple of 1 car accidents there - yep driving too fast You can make horduvers (sp) with the dates - wrap bacon around them - broil them - My Mom use to do that when they entertained ;0) - I bet your Canadian friends will love them. Ok gang we need to exchange Addresses for Xmas cards and dog bones - & I want the black/white cookie ;0)... I will send out an email - and we can give do a card exchange ;0) Candice - Your letter was fine really - but I have always been told not to send stuff when you are in a huff - I have written many of them - just writing them can be enough for me - I usually don't send them - I am not as diplomatic as you - I have to be really careful or I would be fired and I can't do retirement yet :0) - I need my health insurance and I need to be able to shop ;0) Karla - I picked needy ones then got over that and picked a controling one - thought I was making a good choice - he didn't do drug/alcohol - owned his own house and had his own car (all prior bf had nothing and usually a drug issue) and it still wasn't a good choice - he was a control freak ;0) had great qualities too - he did take care of me like earl does phyl but the other stuff like being jealous of my kids - giving me crap for being 5 min late from work or hanging w/gf - just was too much for me.. This yr when pulling out my xmas decorations - I had a box of like oldtime decorations - for the last 5 yrs my tree was done in a diff color - but this yr felt like the color stuff - I miss the tinsel though.. There was one xmas in 98 where I didn't decorate at all.. Well need another cup of coffee - don't know what I am going to do today - suppose to go karakoe w/my trainer tonite - I may just start wrapping - don't feel like getting dress right now and won't be going to the gym - knee is giving me problems CBL

Jackie - Hugs Hugs Hugs - Seeing a Counselor is GREAT!! And I agree if you aren't ready then don't do it - but with the help of counseling you will get there and understand why you choose needy men.. Yes you will get thru it and be a better person for it - This is what I mean about growing up - you are still in your 30's and this is your life experience and when you get to be my age & done the counseling thing you will be as smart as me lol lol... Gf in my 30's I was still making mistakes - made them in my 40's and all those mistakes I have learned from and have made me the person I am today. That's not to say I won't make any more as life goes on - but I think I got a pretty good handle on what I want from life and how I want to be treated.. In my case - I am sick & tired of caring for others - It's my time - But again I spent 40 yrs of taking care of others You know we are always here for you - Hugs Candice - Hugs on you meeting - wait to send the letter re-read it tomorrow - Nothing wrong with it - but it's best to re-read stuff after you have been upset - I sure and the hell don't see you as a mean person - I hate victims :0) Karla - Your food wasn't that bad 1/2 a choc bar not 10 - that in its self is a great thing :0) - I don't know what to tell you about the parents - I would tell them I have 165 kids and I can't respond to every single one of these parents - They need to log on and ck things out - they need to stay on top of their kids.. WTG PHYL !!! You Rock !! Yes - Wine in the fridge - the hordourvers (sp) are made along with 2 kinds of fudge (apples recipe) white & choc which is in the fridge. She won't be reading this cuz she's pm her way here - she doesn't know what's for dinner !!! Ya that was what SHOCKED ME !! We have to give the other Phyl a name - one gf name is Cindy - her alter-ego is LiL Put Karla see smilies - maybe she said it without really saying its :0) Karla - I am into nativity scenes myself - when I was a kid it was my job to set it up - I have a big Costco one I got 10 yrs ago - I put it infront of my fireplace.. Last nite I thought the tree looked good - but this morning it needs more ornaments - then only thing I really miss about not having a real tree is the tinsel - That too was my job as a kid - my Mom taught me to put it on a few pieces at a time ;0) My X and I painted a village pple ceraminc's about 14 yrs ago and I have added a few store bought items - I love that too.. Those kind of things (non add kid) are the things I don't think I could deal with. I would love to take a real personality test to see what job I am really cut out for - I know it's not customer service ;0) - I think I took some sort a long time ago - advertising or something like that - something that works my brain and isn't paper pushing or dealing with pple. Linda (0ur) thinks I am a very compassion person and I most likely am to a fault - I feel bad for my sb brad cuz he doesn't have any clothes - but then I hear what he spends his $$ on - and I shouldn't - but I still do. I got him some really cheap/clearance clothes - I can be an enabler myself.. Plus I feel really sorry for the kid - even though he's 52 and hasn't grown up and has no one but me (he was an only child). He's been sorta hanging w/my Uncle (this is my mom's bro) and I think it's good for him - My Uncle is like 64 and has done just about everything in life - Airforce - to being in a Mex Prison for 2 yrs - to being a Captain in the Merchant Marines - He really has live life and is well read - a very intelligent man with the life experience to go along with it.. Plus I love talking to him about family - I think it's great to get to know your family once you are a grownup - My Uncle Bobby died (my Mom's other bro) - hell I don't remember when - but he's another person I would love to talk to as a grown up - I knew him as a kid and in my 20's but as we all know we are diff pple and appreciate more as we get older.. My Aunt Valerie to - My uncle says I look like her - but I don't think facially I do - but my stature (petite) I don't have any pic's of her.. Well up sorta early this a.m. 6 - didn't go to sleep til after 11:30 went to bed about 10 but couldn't go to sleep. Not going to the gym today - Need to shop for dinner and finish cleaning the house and maybe do some bills for bro's estate. I am going to need more than 1 cup of coffee this morning.. Phyl & Earl are coming over at 3 today :0) - I'm such a lucky girl :0) I am looking forward to it.. Food was excellent yesterday - Omelet & toast (lite) for dinner w/Habenro cheese ;0) popcorn and 1 cup ice cream.. I know not healthy but sometime I love it when I don't eat - but I know today I am making a dessert that I got from my other thread (fudge) so I will end up making up for yesterday :0)... It's 8 p.m. and just finished for the evening - I have been up since 5:15 - being shooting and four wheeling in the desert with my Uncle - got Xmas stuff up - been to the gym - have the house mostly picked up - dogs fed - Andrew made himself a frozen pizza.. I have had 2 cups coffee this a.m. 2 bottles of water and a slice of salami :0) Didn't take anything out - so now I will have to forge for something to eat later - once I have wound down.. Phyl - you crack me up :0) yep it was the other Phyl - I have some gf who have other name's from themselves when they have too much to drink ;0) Karla - WTG on walking away - didn't it feel good - it's so empowering !!!! Well I am dressed in my roughing it clothes - 501 jeans - tennies and long sleeve blouse. Uncle will be here at 9 - I have started moving stuff to decorate - I have to move a tree and end table in the living room so the xmas tree will fit - take pic's down etc - so with this started I will have to finish :0) when I get back.. Your meeting will be fine - don't work yourself up Put the candy down :0)... Kari ya gf where are you - I guess I am going to have to chase you down too.. I don't know if sending more troops is the answer but he thinks it is - so I will support that just like I supported Bush but imho - I think Afghanistan is going to be another Vietnam Since I don't have CIA clearance - I don't know if we are getting the terrorist or not - don't think we can ever stop it (it's been going on for years - all in the name of God - I don't think God wants us killing each other in his name) - but do have to do our very best not to let another 911 happen if we can..

Good Morning Up early this a.m. Went to bed around 10 - Going to hang with Uncle this a.m. - he's taking me out shooting - yes you read that right - I have a gun - it was my bro's and I have never shot it before - in fact I haven't shot a gun in about 8-9 yr I had a little 22 pistol when I was w/xdh - I had to do the whole safety course and only missed 1 on my test - Use to shoot w/Xdh.. He has an arsenal :tongue2: men and their guns like us girls and our shoes :0).. Well Phyl you opened up a can of worms w/the sex :nono: How's your head this a.m. I would report that guy to the animal cops - that's just terrible - I really really feel for your niece - she is in a bad place even if she doesn't know it.. Karla Hugs on the cold - I don't know if I could take it myself - I have always lived in the desert - it's like 45 right now - I am ok I have a teeshirt on and that's it - the back slider is open it's going to be another beautiful day here in the desert 74 and sunny.. But that's long sleeve weather for us ;0).. My doc didn't tell me about lbt - I found it when searching info on the band - 1st I found obesity help - but they are mostly bypass pple and I think there website is harder to navigate - I still have a hard time finding the lapband section. Then I stumbled on to this site. I told my doc about it as he was very impressed with all my knowledge about the band on our 1st meeting.. I agree pple need support - but I think this lady thinks/thought the band would do the work - a lot of pple think this. Have your invited her to lbt. I have been here 3 yrs this coming May... I really feel that it has helped me - plus I LOVE the family that I have gained by being here - that's the very best part.. I wrote on Steph's wall last night telling her to come and see us - I don't know why she hasn't - maybe she doesn't like us any more :0) - Michael seems to be making improvements.. Well off to make another cup of coffee - I need to call Uncle in a bit - he's an early riser - so I know I can call at this time in the a.m. and he will be awake :0)

We all have over indulged ;0) I can't beleive you are typing ;0) Yep I bet it would be (retirement) heck tomorrow is Wed and I haven't gotten everything I wanted to do done - a.m. go w/Uncle for a few hours - want the house decorated by Thursday - Saturday have Xmas party to go to... I go back to work 12/7 then on 12/11 is my furlough friday - so I only have to work 4 days then have 3 days off - Yeah..

I wanted to retire by 55 - but doesn't look like that's happening for me either - so don't feel like the lone ranger.. I've worked for 35 yrs as of right now - if I get to retire by 60 that will be 41 yrs of working !!!

Karla 4.5 hrs that's a long way - why doesn't he come to visit her - that kind of drive would bug me a bit too - but like you said we have to let our kids grow up - but we never stop worrying about them... Hugs on the parent issues - and an hour of your time... Christmas will be lite this yr - shopping done - Walmart - Target - Ross & Marshalls - Candles - hot choc - got my stepbro clearance clothes - he mention the other day he hadn't gotten any new clothes in yrs - so got him some jeans & shorts for $7 each and a couple tshirts for $5 & 10 - got my Uncle soup bowls and some instant soup thingie - my 2 nephews coin collectors and will but $ in them Ya about 11 pple for dinner - the kids will be here around 3 or 4 in the morning I think that can change - Melissa works Xmas Eve gets off around 8 p.m. - I think they should get some sleep and leave around 2 or 3 and get here around 6.. But it will be whatever it turns out to be..- they have rented a truck so they can bring gifts with them and have room to take them back not enough room in their trunk when you add the luggage.. Truly I am glad they are coming... But in the last 3 months I have seen them 3 times :0) - heck more than when they lived here :0) not really cuz I use to pickup the girls all the time.. Your DS lives near San Jose ?? You could leave on Wed and then come back either Saturday or Monday - I wouldn't try driving on Sunday... You did have a busy day !!! Well back from Xmas shopping - I think I am done.. Won't be decorating tonite - knees are hurting - they will be ok after I have sat for a while - I guess I am going to have to get them ck'd out - I hate this - here I get healthy - like exercising and now my knees are bugging me.. WTF!!! I'm only 54 yrs old.. Talked to my nephew Jimbo this morning - he and his bro Stephen are my Bro Jimmy's boys (who died in 99)- I had tried to call him on his bday - but # wasn't working - he sent me an email on thanksgiving to my work email (has my card) anyway - my gf sent to me at home - it was so good to talk to him - He & bro will be coming over for Xmas dinner ..

OMW - she is a little defensive isn't she (lori) - like I said women in an office together can spell disaster - no you could hardly be considered the big bad wolf :0) You don't even have the look or voice for it - now me ya pple can take it that way - I look mean you don't Why in the heck would they bring up pple who don't work there anymore - but ya when it come to performance reveiws they ALWAYs have to find something to bitch about I was a little rude (condescending really) in my tone of voice to an insured once cuz he was STUPID and wanted me to explain his job to him (a new gen mgr at a CC) and ever since then (that was like 10 yrs ago and he was stupid) - per my boss Paul "all my insured's don't like me" - once you get a rep -- it's hard to get away from it - I have ton's of insureds who like me.. and the stupid ones don't - but I don't care - I have 99% of my insured trained very well - don't bug me :0)... Well looks like I am not going to the gym this morning - going to pay bills right now ;0( got property taxes due - then will go finish up my xmas shopping an maybe start on decorating the house. Not super motivated this a.m.

Well got most of the shopping done - Andrew bought me some new tennis shoes - I was going to buy them but he pulled out his card - How Sweet - I told him it's my Xmas present He agreed to this picture... He's such a good kid sometime and let me tell you I cherish these times... Oh Candice - I love photoshop - it takes away all my lines without the pain ;0)

Well back from the gym - I took it easy - did 3.0 @ zero incline then 3 then 6 then 9 then 10 - 1 hr - did 3 miles - and my knee is feeling ok no pain - I think that when I walk faster 4.0 I am hyper extending the knee.. Got the kitchen cleaned my sheet in the wash and gotta figure what I am going to do today... Phyl - I didn't leave the house friday :0) you know me and hangovers :0) - Saturday went to target & home depot in the a.m for replacement lights outside decorations etc and yesterday never got out of jammies - If I don't get out early I usually don't go out at all.. Hope the pool works out - sometimes we just need to get out and moving.. I know that's the way it is for me :0) Candice - Bridget is a doll.. I knew it wouldn't be long before you got a new puppy...

Good Morning Gang I have recharged my batteries !! Turkey day was fine - but they made drinks - so I drank :0) I don't eat and drink :0) I enjoyed the afternoon visiting with my Uncle & Bro and family - Phyl did you notice I was a little buzzed ;0) Friday the kids went to see Melissa's mom - so I napped on and off (tad of a hangover) then they got back fixed dinner and visited.. Saturday Joseph & I put up lights - then watched Phelam 123 great movie - they left yesterday morning at 6 - and I was going to do something - I turned on the computer but never made it back to it.. I watched more movies - read and napped and still went to bed around 9 and slept.. I think I have caught up on all my sleep - going to the gym in a few - my knees have been bugging me - so I think I am going to have to be careful.. Eating - well not too bad - not too great - Since Thursday have had 2 slices of pie - 2 small pieces of cake - trail mix (this was my biggest oh no cuz it's full of calories) 1.5 turkey sandwich - 1.5 cups stuffing - made navy bean soup - This week is going to go by too fast - I need to decorate inside and that's a job .. The kids are coming for Xmas so I am going to have to do a little shopping Candice - lets see a pic of your new puppy Jackie - Hugs..
