I tend to have a rosey and innocent view of human nature, I'd like to think everyone operates on honesty as the best policy in general and I know that there is nothing worse than a victim of a sex crime not having their story heard... so I'll bite and say this:
Tell. Tattle. Share with the world. If you were taken advantage of, it needs to be said. It's true we don't know what the laws there are (well, most of us probably don't) but ethics is ethics and regardless of how it could have gone down at another time or place, a doctor had power in that situation- you were not used, you were victimized. Seek help and tell the authorities. If a person takes liberties like that in such a vulnerable situation, it's probably not the first time and if someone doesn't say something it won't be the last.
That said... I feel like I'm feeding a troll. I hope MY trust hasn't just been blindsided.

If this is Gods honest truth... This is unethical in any country and since you're warning mostly Americans it's only right to expose his identity and let people decide on their own. Who gives a rats ass about whether he'll get mad...

I wasn't going to post because people could put two and two together and figure out who you're posting about, but they probably will anyway! I don't know that it's a horrible thing though honestly, as it doesn't seem to be the first or last time he's done this with a patient. I was there and her story is actually true. INSANE, but true (I was in Mexico at the same time and have seen the "date night" pictures, and have seen emails). Like I've told you privately though, I think his company would like to know this is going on and if you really want to prevent other women from believing that he wants a relationship with them, that's the way to stop it. This may get his attention, but that's not what you say you want. If you really want to keep women from feeling used like this, his company needs to know. If they haven't figured it out already from this thread!
Medical Tourism already has an unfair stigma attached to it. His behavior won't make that any better!!

I have to tell you that I know who this is (I knew by the very first post) And know the doctor in question... I think that you are a beautiful woman
(Pre surgery also) I can see how he was attracted to you.. But he was in the position of authority and it is wrong in my book. Not criminal but morally wrong on his part.

It is hard for a rational, reasonably adjusted person to conceive of the possible benefit from trollism, but in creation there are bacteria that feed from dead skin.

I'm staying in hospital NOVA right now. I was sleeved yesterday with Dr. Ramos Kelly. Rest assured, you picked an amazing surgeon. However, the hospital has some concerned. I'm a daughter of a mom in the Army and the hospital I am used to is on a military base in North Carolina and it probably one of the nicest cleanest hospitals I have ever seen, NOVA isn't like that. It is alright but when I walked in, I did still have surgery here so it's not that bad. The OR is a little questionable but I trust Dr Kelly so I trusted the OR and here I am the day after and feeling better. I did feel awful yesterday though. The nurses are great but the language barrier is an issue so bring a medical cheat sheet for Spanish phrases. But overall I would do it again. I just wish NOVA didn't have so many other people here for general care.

LOL, the talking that my sleeve does I mean! I'm here at work being a good sleever working on my greek yogurt for the day but my sleeve is talking back to me and it's LOUD. Thank the lord I work alone or I'd be embarrassed. It's been this way since I woke up in recovery. I can deal with the talking people do but to get back talk from my body is both amusing and blush-inducing. LOL

My husband spoke with "Team Kelly" today on a business matter. I agree with this statement with a change made to it to keep it correct.Dr Kelly has practicing privileges at Angeles, INT, MI Doctor and Nova.
He perfers Angeles but it is twice the price and most patients want a package price in the $5000 area. Angeles is in the $10K area. But if you've been to Angeles Hospital like we have... you know why.
The only hospital/Clinic that he is NOT working out of is Florence/Oasis.
That being said if your willing to pay... its Angeles at 10Kish. If its $5200... its Nova... If its booked by MBC they pay the cheapest OR fee and thats MI Doctor. Still at $5200
To my understanding and our personal discussion (and to make it short and sweet)... it was a mutual agreement that he would no longer use F/O

IMO... book direct and get Nova Hospital. MBC doesnt do anything extra for you... you actually get less. By booking direct with Lora... no deposit, better xray for leak test, hospital with a doctor present at night, a hospital that does NOT lock its doors at night so they can still be checked on... I'll stop there.

Four months and 98 pounds later, I still cannot say enough good stuff about my experience with Dr. Ramos-Kelly. Dermabond was used (liberally) and his English was excellent. Staff's use of English was hit or miss but I never had trouble communicating. I was sleeved at florence Oasis Hospital (complete with an ICU if necessary) and had my leak test done at Angeles (Dr. RK likes that particular equipment better there). I hear he's working now also at a Hospital Nova but I don't know anything about it.
Not sure if he's a Virgo, but it wouldn't surprise me! LOL Best wishes as you move forward!

BUNK. Pure BUNK. Every body is different. I mean, I'm thrilled to be down 76lbs at just shy of three months post op... but where would I be if I had not had my five/six week stall?! I'll just keep following the program and be glad the trend is DOWN the scale.

I feel like I live in the dairy and cheese sections of my store. Oikos Greek Yogurt, snack cheese, as-natural-as-possible turkey lunch meat... canned tuna, canned chicken. Oh, and popsicles. Always with the popsicles.

I'm so glad that you took the feelings you had and made that plea for yourself and got pushed to the head of the line. You didn't know it then maybe but you made a giant leap forward! I know that the wait can be discouraging, most of those here in the states that go insurance routes have a similar wait time, doing all kinds of tests and "medically monitored" diets before they're giving the green light for surgery. However, it's time that you can look at and know you're on a path to doing something positive for yourself. Use this time to think and dream and study and learn and really be prepared for the new life ahead of you.
