  1. in Australia! (I know, not much help)
  2. Good one. All of this is where your heads at. Sounds like you're in a good place. Deano
  3. Leave it until 7 days post op to jump on the scale, and you'll have a nice surprise.
  4. I usually cruise around the 800 mark. I've done 1100 once when my sleeve was being particularly co operative. How many times are you eating a day?
  5. I'm 11 weeks post op. I used to be really regular, like twice a day. You could set your watch too it in the morning Every few days now.
  6. Glad to hear you're alright. Deano
  7. Sleeved November 7th 2012. Loving it. Good luck on the 31st.
  8. Will have to give it a try. Thanks.
  9. And if you called your surgeon he might have said get to the ER. Don't worry about that rubbish mate - that's what they get paid for!
  10. Did you enjoy it? If you did cut yourself some slack, we're all human after all. Who knows it might ramp up your metabolism and you might have a great loss this week. The thing for me is it doesn't sound like you conciously decided to eat the food and more it got the better of you. Maybe look at planning some occassional indulgences into your food plan so you don't feel out of control. You've lost a truck load of weight - one day isn't the end of the world! Deano
  11. Take care mate - let us know whats happening .......
  12. Some people say you should wait until after mid day. Apparently it's the civilised thing to do I have to admit, if I'm away camping with my mates I'll crack a beer after Breakfast if we're beach fishing..........
  13. Wasn't recommended to me but I have tried one. It was cooked medium so still juicy but it's such a dense protein, it didn't sit well. Maybe try a burger made out of minced pork?
  14. That's awesome. Well done
  15. Sounds great. I usually have some sashimi a couple of times a week for lunch. Love it.
  16. o0o they look like a slider food ........... I'm getting a box
  17. I feel for you Aussie. I've unfortunately seen this way way too many times It's a catch 22 isn't it. Even though I've seen it too many times, I don't know what the answer is. Like a lot of drug uses it sounds like your daughter continues to take advantage of your kind heart. The last thing you are being is selfish.
  18. Nothing wrong with a few test drives before you buy a car ........
  19. Hope it's nothing too serious Aussie. I find it does feel a little bit 'good' or empowering that we don't eat our emotions anymore. I think it might make us face them a bit more too which is a good thing. Excercise is always a good option, and talking / venting - either directly with tose involved or friends. Deano
  20. All jokes aside, that's awesome. Obviously you feel that good about yourself it wouldn't have phased you if he wasn't interested - which is cool.
  21. umm, in the lift??? How's that for confidence! :P
  22. That's rough dude! Must be really hard to train on those calories. Have you always had toast for Breakfast? I know I find bread really hard. Tried it once, haven't gone back. A guy at work whose son is a pro Thai boxer put me onto 'cold porridge'. 30 or 40 grams of porridge oats in a bowl. Pour milk until it's covered well. Cling wrap and put in the fridge over night. I stir it up in the morning and add a little more milk, like a tablespoon. Some times I'll put 3 slices of banana (kids eat the rest on their weet bix) or slice up a strawberry. Some times I'll add a dash of sugar free maple flavoured syrup (tastes nothing like maple syrup, but it's alright). The oats are a really clean breakfast and without being cooked have a heap of natural sweetness (I was surprised). From memory I thing 40g of oats is 152 cals 6 gm Protein. Having that an hour before you train might help? Just a suggestion, Deano
  23. Judging from the managers reaction it would be fair to assume it's part of the culture of the whole restaurant. Disgraceful.
  24. Mate I reckon anyone saying AA is a form of weakness is about as informed as someone who says WLS is a cop out. People need to respect people for facing life's challenges head on.
