Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Hey does anyone have any tips for stopping myself from jumping on the scales everyday? I want to nip it in the bud, it's starting to turn into a habit!

Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Hi Rybecca. I think you guys call them Pension Funds over there. Basically employers and employee make contributions that are set aside for retirement. They're heavily regulated in Australia and all employees have them. From what I know you can access funds from them for financial hardship or medical reasons, but this has to be approved by the board that manages the fund. That's my understanding anyway. Cheers, Deano

Girls are hard markers on themselves - How could you not look different with 35 kilo's lost Lila! I thought I could see the difference 3 days post op but I guess that's a guy thing. People at work not saying anything is about folks not liking change, and that's their issue. Deano

I think the 'average' dress size for Aussie girls is a 16 - so your already way ahead of the pack. Congratulations. Enjoy. Deano.

Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Excellent. How long have you worked there? I've been in Child Abuse for 5 years, but could have bumped into you before that when I was in uniform during liquor ops in the city. Good to meet you. Deano.

Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Hi everyone, My names Dean. In a 43 years old, married with 8 year old twin girls. I'm a Detective with the Queensland Police. I had my surgery on the 7th Nov (12 days ago) and I'm feeling pretty good. My starting weight was 137kgs (301.4) After the 2 week pre op diet I was 130kgs (286) on the day of surgery. After the first week I was happy to lose another 5 kgs (11) and was at 125kgs (275). So 12kg (26.4) in total. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. This week my weight seems to have really slowed, it looks like I'll lose about a pound, maybe. I'm not too worried, I know this is a long road, but I was surprised that the weight loss slowed up so quickly. All the best, Dean

Freshly Post Op In Australia
Nice one. I agree. I'm still on the liquid diet and can only manage about 700 calories a day. I've been walking heaps and gardening etc. Nothing too strenuous. Good luck! Deano

Freshly Post Op In Australia
Thanks - I'm convincing myself that I'm not worried about it! It's still pretty early for me, so I can't physically increase the cals yet, but I'll keep the tip in mind. Thanks, Deano

Not A Stall Exactly But A Super Slow Down
That was a reassuring article icon23, thanks! I think I'm entering my stall early and I'm trying to have patience. It took me a long time to get into this shape and it will take persistence and patience to unravel. Take care, Dean
