  1. Wiki A 4 litre cask of Australian white wineA box wine (or boxed wine, goon, goon bag, cask wine[1]) is a wine packaged as a bag-in-box. Such packages contain a plastic bladder protected by a box, usually made of corrugated fiberboard.
  2. You're a bunch of thread hijackers! Suprised nobodies metioned goon yet??
  3. Some people are so, touchy
  4. Oi - I'm working at turning my slab into a 6-pack!
  5. I've had a few beers. It takes me about an hour + to get through one! To reduce the carbonation I have it in a glass instead of a bottle or a can. Wine is good and I've had a few small glasses. Generally if I'm out I'll pour a glass with my meal and taste the wine with the food, because I like wine with good food. I don't have so much that you'd consider it drinking with food. Then after I've finished eating for 30 minutes, I finish my glass. I've also had a couple of single malt whiskeys post op and they went down fine.
  6. I was a bread / pasta / rice junkie before. I have zero interest in it now. I've had a couple of tortillas and mountain bread etc. It doesn't really do it for me anymore. Generally I'd rather have the filling (chicken / salad / pesto / veg etc) on a plate rather than have the carbs sit heavy.
  7. Day 1 week 2. I'm use to the app now, so it was the first jog I cranked some tunes. Played some garag-ie disco house with a 125bpm 4-4 beat. Hope you're all having a good weekend! Deano
  8. Best of luck mate. The outfit is lovely. The confidence is hot! Deano
  9. I've had a couple of days like that along the way and have eaten a little bit more than I usually do. As long as in the big scheme of things I'm still having a very low cal day, I haven't worried about it. You wake up the next morning and it's business as usual. Deano
  10. That's awesome. Your gunna be halfway soon
  11. I'm obviously a long way from having to deal with an issue like this!! If you track on myfitnesspal, or something similar, wouldn't it involve working with a dietician to find out how many cals you have to consume a day to maintain? A bit like finding your 'sweet spot' for optimum weight loss. Then if you know what that is, say 1800 cals, you can consume in that ball park to maintain?
  12. I'm a bit the same. Things are annoying me more than they did. I think part of it is I'm an emotional eater and didn't really know it. I think in the past when I was having these feelings I'd eat something to make them go away. I obviously can't / don't do that anymore. I'm trying to be conscious of feeling this way and dealing with it in other ways. It's a work in progress!
  13. Don't worry - you won't get an extra inch per 10 kgs lost!
  14. I call my wife 'the hand brake' because she stops me from going any where!
  15. True that. making sure you get enough Fluid is the first box to check.
  16. Because of all the fibre a little bit of fruit goes a long way.
  17. Todays was - a few frozen grapes a few slices of frozen banana a slice of fresh pineapple (including the core) 1/2 scoop unflav Protein powder handful of fresh spinach tbsp chia seeds Water and ice Blitzed in the vitamix. Was great!
  18. You'll both be fine. Your feelings are normal. The small amount of discomfort post op becomes a distant memory once there is a landslide of the scale. Good luck! Deano
  19. Chia is really good for constipation and loads of other stuff. http://thescienceofeating.com/2013/02/11/double-chocolate-chia-seed-doughnuts/
  20. I thought this was a topic I could contribute to. I normally give people the shits .........
  21. oi are you calling me a pig because I'm a. a man b. a copper c. a pig or d. all of the above ???
  22. Mike for a while there I was only going every couple of days. I tried adding a fibre suppliment, but it didn't do the trick. I got a vitamix a week ago, and I've been having a green smoothie everyday. It's as regular as it was 'back in the day'. You could set your watch too it.
  23. 'Manually dealt with' - don't even like people wagging their finger in my face!
