  1. Slab of butter. Slab of bacon. Slab of beer. Does everything good in life come in slabs??
  2. A mid morning buzz from the slug of gin you had to get the bad taste out of your mouth. Wish I was an Orange County housewife.
  3. I have 8 year old twin girls. My kids are kept busy. We have them in - Squad Swimming Nippers (ie Junior Life Guards) Tennis Netball Piano Australian Youth Choir It's all pretty expensive to be honest. One of the girls came for the C25k jog with me last night. Her sister and her Mum were at choir, so she had to. It was cool doing something together and talking about food and exercise the whole time. We both enjoyed it. Now both girls are really excited about both coming out tonight, and can't stop talking about it. All for $1.99 app. Was a bit of a light bulb moment really.
  4. Is there such a thing as competitive purging?
  5. I still can't believe it's not butter.
  6. If you refer back to any 'gagging' posts you'll notice - he is the hot dog ninja!
  7. He's the hot dog ninja.
  8. I know where you're coming from. And using an event like the super bowl as an excuse to eat that stuff all day, non stop, for hours. I just tasted a little bit of vomit in my mouth just thinking about it.
  9. LOL - I was trying to be 'sensitive' and talk about 'feelings' ......... The OP feels the same weather it was two bites of tomatoes or a whole cake *sigh* I should get off here and go and lock up some grubs .......... :P
  10. All of the above. It's typically mindless eating. I eat 6 times a day. I generally know what each meal will be. I decide how much based on how hungry I am at the time.
  11. Oh **** ...... it is butter
  12. You're obviously a really hard marker on yourself! I get that. I'm a lot like that as well, and it's something I'm working on I'm starting to realise that there will be lots of challenges along the way. Instead of me expecting myself to face every challenge and succeed I now know I'm going to stumble on some of them. And I'm ok with that (I think!!) But like Laura said. A couple of bites of tomatoes with have ZERO effect on your pre op
  13. I love leaks post sleeve. I find onions too astringent. Oh leaaaaaks. Sorry, I have vowel issues.
  14. I can't believe it's not butter.
  15. Shake off the shame. The cycle of eating / shame / more eating is what got a lot of us here in the first place. A can of tomatoes is no biggie. But what ever it was, it's done now. Nothing you can do about the past. Learn from any mistakes and keep an eye on the plan for the future - that is what you can control. Good luck with the rest of your pre op! Deano
  16. JennyBeth. It sounds like a really complicated problem you have on your hands, that you have been dealing with for years. I won't try to offer a solution in a few lines in a weight loss forum. BUT KNOW THIS - No situation was made worse by a person being fitter, stronger, healthier and feeling better about themselves.
  17. I don't know her. I'm sure she's lovely.
  18. Might look a bit like cabin fever, doing laps of your living room!
  19. You'll be fine! If any of us have to repeat a week, no biggie It beats sitting on the couch!
  20. Will be good a few of us kicking off around the same time! Anyone else?????? C'mon!!
  21. That's spooky Lila. I just started that yesterday. Today was day two. Aussielady is going to do it as well. I started a thread seeing if anyone wanted to get on board. I'm really enjoying it!
  22. Love it. I had some smaller sizes that I had grown out of put away and was meaning to get them out. I pulled them out last week and they were too big. Straight to the charity bin!
  23. Bummer. Hills it is!!
  24. That's great. You must be really pleased. When I get down to 99 (in 4 kilos) that will put me in the 'overweight' BMI range. After that I'm not sure what my goal will be. 82kgs is the top of my healthy BMI range. I don't know if I want to get down to that or even if my body would be happy there. So I'm just going to play it by ear. I was 87kgs in my early 30's and was fit, strong and healthy. Maybe that might be the number. It's a good problem to have!
  25. When you need changing every couple of hours you've gone too far!
