  1. I assumed it was cabage you eat in the can?
  2. Looks delicious! I do a killer pulled pork on my kamado bbq (even if I do say so myself ) What's pulled pork bacon?
  3. Hi K and welcome. I didn't feel any guilt. I knew it was my time for surgery. I'd yoyo dieted for decades and it finally came to a time that I knew I needed help. No regrets and no guilt. All the best, Deano
  4. I think we just ambushed OTR's tour thread with a hug-fest. Sorry OTR!
  5. I love you guys Group hug!!
  6. The short version is that isolate is more pure. It's like comparing fillet steak with chuck steak. Unless you're a body builder or a serious athlete I wouldn't worry about it. Just use a protien powder that you're happy with ie - 1). the amount of calories / carbs it has and 2). the taste. It's no good having the 'worlds greatest' powder in the cupboard if it tastes like poo and you don't use it.
  7. Anyone coming to Australia?
  8. Statistically, almost nobody can.
  9. Before I started the program I was walking for a couple of weeks until I got up to a brisk walk for 5k without feeling like I was going to die! Then the next week I kicked off c25k. Good luck! Deano
  10. Week 3 day 1 bagged. Hurting. Love it.
  11. Keith grew up not far from where I live. We're probably related Maybe I should grow a mullet?
  12. Good work mate. Sip sip sip, walk walk walk!
  13. That would be an American Dean. Aussie Dean's are much cooler
  14. For me VSG was like baby bears porridge. Bypass was too extreme. Lap band had a high rate of revision and ongoing diet problems. VSG was just right.
  15. I get mad people ringing work all the time making baseless allegations. I had a mad woman call the other day saying she thought her ex husband was giving her 12 year old son steroids because he was having a growth spurt......... For some people 2 + 2 = 64
  16. Doh, Sorry Nicole! I shouldn't read first thing in the morning. Let's all just pretend that we're married, and disregard me completely!! :P As you were ...........
  17. Hey Nicole, I've had a re read of the original post and I don't mean to speak for Cheri, but there's nothing there that say's she was offended. A lot of what VST is about is giving back and helping people with their struggles that are the same as your struggles. I've always found the vast majority of people on VST, including Cheri, to have a lot of empathy for others. I can completely understand how someone in a helping role can feel like they might be starting to burn out. I see it a lot in my line of work. And I have empathy for that as well.
  18. Standing by. Let me know when your ready for your work out!
  19. Ahhh, the truth comes out - not only supportive but watching out for you! *cough* man basher *cough*
  20. You picking on the way I talk??
  21. Aww, I have faith in you Lars, even if it is from the other side of the planet. Take the first step! DO IT DO IT!!
  22. I would've piped up if you needed help from the couch to bed
  23. Want me to come over and run with you?
  24. Thanks, but I can't take credit for that. It was a pretty innocuous first post really Obviously what's had the impact is the collective enthusiasm from everyone - it's very cool!! Have a go on the road. Treadmills are great for the purpose they serve, but really, the joy of fresh air and pavement .........
