  1. 22 minutes. That's awesome. I think once you're at that stage it's official. You're a runner.
  2. Hey Michele. So about all the drama with your surgeon. I'm sure set backs like that can be very frustrating. I'm not sure where you are. I know a surgeon in Brisbane who can generally get you in quickly given all the work you've already done. I was in a similar situation and got it done in a few weeks after months of work with a previous guy. With the name / photo thing it was just a comment on my personal preference because I like to know names and see what people look like when I've known them for a while. I know people have lots of reasons not to have either on here, and I'm cool with that
  3. I was going to say "I'm mates with a gay guy with a sharp tongue. Don't make me bring him in here!"
  4. Yer, walk walk walk, sip sip sip. It'll all flush out.

  6. Hey Kimi. I'm about 17 weeks post op
  7. I still have a beer if I'm at a work thing. I couldn't imagine having a glass of wine with a bunch of Aussie Detectives, I might get laughed out of town! I find tap beer (draught) if better. I can sit in a glass of beer for a couple of hours. I don't have any problem with the carbonation at that pace.
  8. I'ma good hugger ......... you're missin' out

  13. I've been back and re read the thread. I still can't see why anyone would have such an issue with it. I assume it's issues outside of here. If anyone wants to message me for a hug ........

  17. Ahh. I was confused (doesn't take much) I hate it when I read people telling others what to do but I didn't see that on this thread, so I got a bit lost. "panties in a wad" LOL I had to google that .......
  18. Oh, and I eat 6 times a day. I find I after 3 hours I get an empty feeling. Over the last few months I've got much better at knowing when I'm satisfied and not over full *pats self on back*
  19. People are crazy if they don't follow their surgeons and dieticians advice. Isn't everyone just talking?
  20. You've done an amazing job Kel. It will be great having this tool to chip away at the last bit!
  21. I was the same as Marto. Felt flat for 3 weeks, was it depression? Not sure, but I wasn't myself. For me I think it was facing my food demons and why I over eat, more than missing food or volume eating. That temporary black dog feeling is well and truly gone now.
  22. Yeah, we'll sell off anything Australian for a dollar. Kangaroos with be native to America or China next.
