    People, have an intelligent conversation without cursing at one another, calling each other names or being disrespectful, please. We are getting quite tired of the attitudes and will not allow this to continue.

    Here is a recipe that one of my fellow WLS friends made last nite.....it is WLS friendly....enjoy!!!!
    Tuna Cakes
    You need:
    - 1 can albacore tuna in olive oil
    - 1 egg
    - 1/4 c reduced fat shredded cheese
    - 4 crushed up popped rice cakes cheddar cheese

    Mix it all together & form 2 tuna cakes

    Spray pan w/ Pam and fry until crispy. I started on high heat and flipped them every few minutes for about 8 minutes & reduced heat a bit with every couple of flips. Ended on low heat.

    Super yummy, crispy & filling.

    Serving is 1 Tuna Cake @ 205 cal / 20 pro

    * makes 2

    Anorexia nervosa is a serious mental health issue with dire consequences to a persons physical health. VSG is all about getting healthy and improving your physical well being and being your best. I don't see that there are any similarities.

    Technically I guess we could google "how much fat is in a va jay jay" and then get a study done on yours before and measure the difference. I fear I may never stop laughing. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me I'm immature because it's a serious question. And it is. But.....

    I was sleeved August 28th as well and am down 47 lbs. It has been a big change, but i don't regret it for one minute. I am 14 lbs from secondary goal... If you really want to change your life don't read horror stories. I guarantee there are more success stories than horror stories...

    I can't belive she said that to you!! Insurance companies do not cover surgeries that are not needed. If you didn't meet their criteria for medically necessary, they would not pay for it.

    I am 5'2.....214 lbs and my BMI is 38....I have a few co -morbidity factors...hypertension, sleep apnea, high cholesterol and borderline diabetic. I have tried so many diets over the years, I work out 4 times a week and its been a constant struggle. TOday I went for my pre op...I'm being sleeved December 13th, and the nurse actually said to me you don't need this you are not big enough!! In a few years from now I see myself struggling even more and I feel that this is the time for me to do it..My insurance is covering it 100% which definately helped with my decision.
