Please Help Me Wrap My Head Around This...
I was wearing size 12 pants and my daughter had me try on smaller ones. I now wear 8P short depending on the style. I have to try everything on because I can't even guess what size as it varies. Just thankful I can do the things I now do....Didn't get off the bipap though which was a huge disappointment. Maybe in a year.

Can you still eat in restaurants?
I split a lot of meals with my husband when we go out. I even took Protein packs and asked for hot Water when I was still on liquids. Protein first, then colors. I don't eat Pasta or rice out as they are usually not the brown rice or higher protein pasta. No bread out for the same reason. I have them bring me the meal without the bread or bun, etc. Grilled, some Soups, Wendy's chili....I always find something and bring some Snacks along in case I have problems.

Venison And Elk Meat..
We actually have lived in Michigan again since the early 80's and in Jackson MI since 87. Would love to go out to Jackson Hole again...Skied there one time but haven't been to Yellowstone yet. Wanted to back pack and hike but I got pregnant, and the next time we planned it, we moved out of Wyoming.

Venison And Elk Meat..
We moved from Wyoming to North Dakota in 1980 and then back so Michigan in 81. Lived in South Haven for about 7 years and then now in Jackson. He usually hunts bucks on his brother in law's family acreage. Didn't hunt this year though as last year there was wasting disease and a lot of the deer died. Our son and nephew weren't hunting either. Hopefully, next year though as I miss the venison. The year he got an elk, he took a game processing class and brought it in. Someone else brought in a moose hind end. Looked like a cow to a dog in the difference in size. We spent most of the night cutting up his elk and freezing it. Didn't really know what we even had!

As Of Today, I Am A *veteran*.

Venison And Elk Meat..
We lived in Wyoming for 7 years and ate Elk, and antelope. Loved the crockpot. Now we eat venison if my husband hunts and gets one. We have it ground and add ground beef to it. I use it just like ground sirloin. Used some canned venison in a stuffed pepper Soup instead of ground sirloin and loved it.

As Of Today, I Am A *veteran*.
I celebrated my one year surgiversary on the 12th. Saw the doctor on the 18th. He was very pleased. He said the honeymoon is over now. Went back to Water aerobics..Today I ordered a new one piece swim suit...size 12, and a coverup. Tired of wearing a suit that I have to tie the straps in back with a shoe string so they will stay up while I exercise!! My gift to myself!!

You May Be More Successful Than You Think....
May I share the formula at my 1 year nutrition meeting next week??? I had never heard of EWL and I read the article about the sleeve study and am interested in some of the other articles. My daughter is a doctor, and also had the sleeve. She probably already knows about it, but we have never discussed it. Will have to ask her!! Thanks!

Joint replacement surgery
Good luck with the surgery....Walk, exercise, and follow what the PT and doctor tell you to do. My husband was my "coach" and he really thought he would have to pressure me to do the exercises. Both my sister and brother had problems with scar tissue buildup so I was determined I wasn't having that. I did what they told me to do, Water aerobics as soon as I was able to go into the pool again, AND paid extra to go to the same place for an extra 3 months of exercising on their equipment as they would tell me my next step. I can ride a recumbent trike which I couldn't do before my knee replacement and....have walked 2 5 k's since my sleeve surgery.... Will be glad to follow up with your progress!!

BIG FAT PEOPLE!
PS.....Lots of them are hand me downs from friends and family, too...Not all "new". Love consignment shops and second hand stores!!

BIG FAT PEOPLE!
I sent clothes to a fellow sleever in Mo., have given away lots of clothes to friends and their family members, as well as donating them. Even clothes with spots can be recycled if you find out who will take them. Nothing has gone to waste except my underwear....not even the bras. Think about that instead of throwing them away. I have a new closet full of clothes, and will be searching again for summer things.
