  1. At first my tests were fine, but it just kept getting worse. Just don't ignore any sign regardless of what's causing them. I personally should never have had the band because I have a history of ulcers. Never bleeding until the band. Chances are your husbands symptoms aren't band related, especially if the dr confirms that they aren't. BUT if things don't improve then insist on more testing.
  2. My mom always said, "someone needs to sit mother natures ass down and have a serious chat with her" I have been wishing for menopause since I had my last kid and I swear ole TOM will still be visiting me when I'm 70. Good luck on your baby adventure and don't cave to those bad eating craving. Try to think of this way.. Would you let your child eat that? Prayers to you
  3. My lame iPad won't let me post pics. Either way, I always hid from the camera anyway.
  4. that's the portion removed . Not even MX would they put a live organ on the gurney Only guess I take is they check for leaks because it's the same zipper line burned closure thingy they used on the other side of the stomached left inside. Therefore both should be airtight. I don't know.. Just a guess
  5. Yes, I've passed out many times with the band. When you said they did an upper GI are they saying the just X-rayed the upper GI or did they do an actual upper GI endoscopy procedure? Big difference. I passed out due to sudden low blood pressure. The endoscopy showed I was bleeding from several ulcerated areas from my throat to just beyond my band. Make them check out every angle and area to rule issues out Hopefully it's not band related, but hopefully he's finds the cause ASAP Good luck
  6. I eat a few bites of oatmeal when I feed the Lil guy. It's funny that a 13 month old eats more than I do.
  7. Holy crap... What transformation! Keep up the good job. Also, I'm coming go with that statement too... I'm a smaller fat now
  8. Laura.. Noooooo.. I didn't, But it happens. I'm an ex medic and have seen it all.
  9. I lucked out and never had constipation or diarrhea or any bowel issues. Just thinking about drinking all that makes me want to gag... Glad you're getting it over with. Oh, and good luck..
  10. What's the purpose of this and from the sounds of it I'm glad I didn't have to do it. I remember docs used I require flushing out when going into labor, but that went out with shaving you bare and the ice age I think
  11. Nope.. I came here to roll my eyes because it would've been rude to do it on the ridiculous post I really wanted to do it on
  12. The carbonation is what puts the "sparkle" in it.. Without it it's just plain water
  13. I think plus size yoga sounds like a wonderful start. I've never heard of it, but I'm going to look into it. I have a really awesome gym, but I really want to do yoga.. Just not with a bunch of ssubs! (skinny stuck up beeotchs)
  14. Hah.. The thread killer champ!
  15. Thanks for sharing that. I love the purity of the True brand, but I can only handle so much lemon before I can't stand it. Love the thought of the new orange and grapefruit flavors
  16. I have never heard of anyone waiting so long for surgery. With any MX surgeon. Perhaps there is a reason behind it? Depending on the prior patient, the doc can be delayed and of course your Cordinator, like Dr Ponce's is right with you until you are taken in and therefore involves you in every aspect of what's going on. Did you demand to know what's going on? I think I would have been marching right up to the doc and saying ..hey, what's up! It's not normal to not have a surgery date and time.. Something went wrong!
  17. I buy the electrolyte enhanced water, like smart water from Costco and then add any flavor MIO.
  18. MIO flavors mixed in electrolyte enhanced water
  19. Yeah, I agree with Kirk!
  20. here's a fer sure thread killer I stole from another thread.. Now we know how the gman likes his "back door" I would have commented on the other thread, but it says no nasty comments Thread Killer? Bwahahaha....
  21. Ahh.. I lived in Yakima many years. Went to YVC, met my husband, married, first child there, graduated CWU and then moved for work, but many awesome memories there. In-laws are gone now so we don't get there much.
