    I was hoping that I get out of this phase myself. Smh it's a little stressful but I want to make sure I maintain this lost I worked so hard for. I guess this will be my life lol but I'm fine with that as long as I don't gain anything that will be a change in dress size

    I was so excited for my surgery and I've pretty much told everyone in my life including co-workers about it. My family has been great, but some of my co-workers have been shady. I've even had a few try to tell me that WLS is cosmetic! As if. Now I am not one who cares too much about what others think. But it's super annoying. half of the reason I shared is because 75% of the women I work with are overweight themselves and perhaps hearing my story would inspire them. Instead they hate. Well they will really hate me a year from now when I'm a size 8. Ha.
    highest weight = 228 DOS = 219 CW = 203 DOS was May 7th 2013

    My plan recommends 60-70 grams of Protein per day for women. I got mine from very low calorie sources. If you are eating Protein from higher calorie sources, it could be an issue.
    For example:
    Breakfast: 1 scoop Gold Standard whey Protein vanilla mixed with 1/2 cup soy milk and 1/2 cup water: 28 grams of protein, 170 calories
    Lunch: 1/2 cup Anderson Split Pea Soup with Bacon: 5 grams protein, 70 calories
    Dinner: 1.5 oz chicken breast with 1 T. BBQ Sauce, 2 T. green beans: 10 grams protein, 70 calories
    After Dinner: 1 scoop powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Protein: 21 grams protein, 100 calories
    Total protein: 64 grams
    Total calories: 410

    I can relate to this post, majority of the time I feel like why bother to cook anything for myself bcuz the amount I'm able to eat is a waste of time to cook or prepare. However I am losing well about 3-4 lbs a week. I find myself reaching for yogurt and applesauce or my shakes quicker than anything. If I eat real food I'm usual forcing myself to get up and cook it. But isnt this why we had the surgery in the first place? For the restriction? It's enjoy the weight loss we are having and look in the mirror and say it was all worth it for u baby!! Lol every time I see the scale go down I think go girl all that light eating did u justice and I high five myself!

    breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with 1/2 slice american cheese
    sipped a chocolate Protein shake through the morning
    lunch: 1/3 cup pureed veggie Soup, 4 oz cottage cheese
    dinner: baked ricotta with Tomato basil sauce and parmesan
    and another Protein Shake.
    about 800 cals, 90g Protein.< /p>

    Im going to join the weekly weigh in. I'm back to the basics after being bad for like a month. But im doing all Protein shakes now. Luckily I didnt gain anything but I haven't lost either. I got out of my logging routine and checking in on here so im trying to get back into sleeve mode lol

    I use pure Protein powder in chocolate and 8oz of unsweetened almond milk with 2tb of PB2 w/ chocolate and I love it! ! It tastes like a Reeses Peanut Butter cup lol and all together is 31g of protein! ! 11g of carbs and 6g of fat 4g of sugar

    I had stopped logging for about a month or two and feel back into some bad snacking habits and wasn't getting my Protein. So now I'm doing alot more Protein shakes and 800 calories only I've been logging for 5 days straight now and I've already lost 1.5lbs!!! 135lbs here I come! !!! Whoop whoop! !loving my sleeve! !!
