  1. Allow me to introduce you all to "Sleeve Perry".
  2. My doc got back to me very quickly. Since my vomiting is a result of my actions and the fact that I am, and always have been, a very violent puker that it is the force of me vomiting. Very possible. I have no symptoms of anything else. I need to slow the heck down.

  4. I ate something heavy and I ate it fast. Needless to say, my stomach rejected it and I threw up. I've noticed there are small traces of red, blood I'm assuming, in the exiting contents of my stomach. Should I be alarmed? I have an email out to my surgeon but I wanted some feedback from here as well. I'm 9 weeks postop

  6. Sippin' a malt in the hot sun I fought my Sleeve and my Sleeve won I fought my Sleeve and my Sleeve won I needed ice cream 'cause I had none I fought my Sleeve and my Sleeve won I fought my Sleeve and my Sleeve won
  7. I've been betrayed! Today is Ice Cream Wednesday at work. A tradition I started a couple of years ago. I've abstained for quite awhile but today I decided to partake. I wanted a chocolate malted milkshake. My favorite. Aunt Flo in da house! And our local ice cream parlor has the best. Three sips. Tasted like heaven but good ole Sleeve Perry did not approve. I now feel like I have a brick in my belly and am fighting the urge to gag. ...then fall, Amanda...
  8. How did everything go? I'm looking forward to hearing updates! I hope everything went well.
  9. I made a healthy green bean casserole and paired it with 1/2 a cheeseburger.
  10. I think I'm struggling to see where your anxiety is coming from. You're in a committed relationship with a man who loves you for who you are, thick or thin. He's not only your live in bf he's also your BFF. You love him. He wants to be with you forever. You share the same views on children and marriage. And you're worried about screening the right guys for dating?
  11. Is it bruising? Bruising can be yellowish in color. Still, my observation does not and should not take the place of your doctor or any medical professional.
  12. It's a shame that she retaliated against you unfairly and betrayed your confidence, especially motivated by bitterness and envy. It is also a shame that many people on here are suggesting that you behave like her. Vengeful and retaliatory. Then you're no better than her. I get your anger and hurt. I've discovered that going directly to the person who has wronged you and calmly but directly calling them on it is the most effective way to deal with people. You will be holding up a mirror and she's going to see what she wants to see or she will see the truth. I don't envy her either result, although I'd rather see the truth and learn from it. Don't justify reacting like her, because she did it first.
  13. Looks like you've wandered South of the Border by accident. It seems to be SOP in Mx.
  14. I chose Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. My experience was excellent. He is on the higher end of price, 8750, but worth it. He has so much experience and Almater Hospital is 100% full service, and the WLS patients have their own wing.
  15. How do you know they don't mean it or won't do it? You assume and aren't giving people enough credit. How do you know it's ineffective. It's hope, love, and well wishes being sent your way. It's a positive thing. Take it for what it is at its most basic level. Someone who cares enough to want things to work out well for you.
