  3. February 18th with Dr. Ariel Ortiz in Tijuana....can't wait
  4. Any gals who have had breast augmentation notice an absence of sensitivity?? My husband told me a story that he heard about one of his coworker's wives who had breast implants and she lost all feeling..supposedly her husband said, "she didn't even know he was on them".....Not sure if this is true or not, but I would be torn between looking nice or full sensation.
  5. I like "Protein Ice" brand in the blue raspberry flavor...zero carbs, not too sweet, and tart and refreshing over ice. I buy it at a local sports nutrition shop. It's a little pricey as well...:/
  6. Hi Sarah..wish I could help you out, keep posting..hope you find a buddy soon! Best of luck on your upcoming day in January, I'll be heading to Tijuana a month after you.
  7. Way to go! Hope I can achieve such wonderful results.
  8. Fabulous Accomplishment!!
  9. Hi Sars...I wonder this too. My husband and I have been together for almost 30 years and we have weathered lots of tough times. Although he is not super supportive of me going to Mexico to have this surgery, and has expressed fears for my well being and outcome (sometimes harshly) I feel confidant that once I am on the other side and feeling good, it will improve our relationship even more. I hope to inspire him to take better care of himself, and to include him in activities other than our usual dining out. This surgery is an investment in our future!
  10. Sounds yummy Thanks for sharing!
  11. such a difference..you have transformed yourself!
  12. You are so close, congratulations! Wishing you an easy and speedy procedure and recovery..I have to wait until February

  14. Hi there..don't lose focus! I know that's easy for me to say..I'm still pre-op, but don't get discouraged. Just follow your plan, you may be in one of the dreaded stalls
  15. I've read lots of posts about this...seems to be a common occurrence for people. It's related to being in ketosis I think but supposedly it gets better as time goes by, your tastes return to normal.
  16. For someone who has only seen "bite-sized" brownies...this was a neat article! I've never referred to food as being adorable, but looking at these I can agree...they are! Thanks for posting
  17. I hope this means that they are just busy enjoying life being normal sized and not because they have regained weight!
  18. I hope it's not the dreaded leak as well....keeping you in my thoughts and wishing you a speedy fix! Take care...
  19. You are shrinking! What a difference those 4 weeks have made, bet you can't wait for the next 4 Keep up the good work!
  20. Wishing you luck and a safe and successful surgery...keep us posted!
  21. I've watched his youtube videos too and really like them. He was my first choice in surgeon but I'm not patient enough to wait to save up his surgery fee :/
  22. Maybe they are older than the tub stuff?? Age/moisture/settling could affect how it would come out of the package, clumpy or loose and free-flowing. Maybe try to break it up before you mix it...
  23. I've got Dr. Alvarez's book...it's pretty good, lots of general information, some "troubleshooting" tips...you can order it off his website endobariatric.com or I think there is even a link on here somewhere I've seen.
