  1. My three year old son is spongebob fanatic, he watches it all the time and then goes around the house saying the slash singing stracher. He's so cute, My girls on the other hand, always joke around about, the higher you hold your pinky up the more class you have, LOL. My fav show is what not to wear and divine design and I love anything w/ Rachel Ray, she is my heroe. How I envy her. She was in Paris the other day and was sitting by the Ifle Tower (sp????) (I can't believe I don't know how to spell that???) sipping wine and eating cheese and olives w/ fresh baked bread, oh my God it was divine. She is so freaking lucky.
  2. Well, I've got the hots for my fill doctor, Dr. Gomez aka Cutie Pie, I don't love him or anything, I just want to use him for hot sex... he, heeeee, heeeeee. Just kiding, hey a girl can fantazise (sp?) can't she????
  3. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of (((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))
  4. You two girls are hilarious. Man, don't you wish we all lived close by and could hang out all the time and could go partying and stuff? I'm so jelouse, well maybe soon we can meet again and hopefully I will get a chance to meet the fabulous Delarla and the rest of the gang.
  5. My surgery was like Delarla's except for the thigh high sexy stockings, I actually walked into the surgery room, my designer gown and all. The only worst part of it was the picture the doctor took of me buck naked to document my weight, so that I could see where I was and then compare. That was horrible. The last thing I remember is telling the anesthesiologist, please let me wake up, I have to go home to my three children and he reassured me that I was in good hands and that was it. I remember waking up in the recovery room and an hour later I was in my room. I was uncomfortable because of the gas, my right shoulder was very sore, but nothing I couldn't handle. My mom was w/ me so that was nice and I stayed overnight with her at my side. The next day, I left the hospital about noon and went home to recover. The surgery was simple and I thanked God for letting me come home to my kids.
  6. My tt is scheduled for July 4, I'm so excited. Everythings set, so wish me luck, I'm sorry to be posting here but I'll here from more of you, I am so darn excited... Please pray for me, I'm nervous about going under again. I want this so bad, but I also don't want to die in order to get a flat stomach. So please keep me in my prayers.

I'm with vinesqueen on this one. You deserve those jeans, don't feel guilty. Sometimes the more expensive clothes are cut better for our sizes. I bought a gorgeous pair of jeans at $110 last month, and let me tell you, they make my ass look so good, and I don't even have an ass. So I'll keep saving my money and buy a good piece here and there, don't you watch What Not to Wear, have Stacy and Clinton not taught you anything??? I love them, I'd give anything to be made over by them. Don't take your jeans back, splurging every now and then isn't bad.
  8. You all are gorgeous.
  9. WOW, you both look amazing, what incredibly beautiful women both of you are. Just breathtaking... Ahhhhhhhhh, We better start working on our calendar, with these hot women on it, it will sell like hotcakes.
  10. My doctor is Ernesto Castellanos he has two offices one in Monterrey and one in Reynosa. I'm having my surgery in Reynosa as it is right across the border from McAllen, from where my mom lives, so I'll be recovering there. I'll have to stay two nights at the hospital and then come back in a week or so to get the drains removed. I am planning on staying for two weeks, in case I should have any problems. I have also contacted a local surgeon here that I can follow up with if necessary. So I'm covered in case anything goes wrong. I'm glad my surgery will be in REynosa cause I'll be on this side after the surgery, so I'll have access to a US hospital if needed. Thanks for the encouragement.
  11. Well I spoke w/ the ps yesterday evening and I am getting my tt and lipo the first week of July. Spoke w/ my boss and she's cool about me taking the time off and all is well. My aunt is headed to Texas on the 30th, so I'll be hitching a ride w/ her and then my mom is bringing me back. I would have flown, but I don't think I can handle my three kids on the flight back on my own, and since my mom is coming back w/ me to help me out after my surgery this worked out well. Well so if you have any spare $$$$ send it my way, cause I'm fixing to spend alot of money. I'm really surprised at how supportive my husband is being with all of this, I thought he would be bitching about me taking so much money from our savings, but he's fine w/ it. He said that if I really want to do this, I should go for it. Heck, he wants them to give me a little back as well, Look out JLO here comes Bella... Well talk to you guys later, I'll keep you updated, and let the countdown begin. 10 days till tummy tuck heaven!!!!! DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!!!:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana
  12. Copied from other thread to answer same question:: Here is the name of the doctor in Naples, when you contact them, please ask if they take Mexican banded patients for fills and what the cost is? Thanks. The website is very interesting. HOpe this helps, good luck, more than likely they will take you because you were banded in the US, did your insurance cover the surgery or were you self-pay? Well let me know what they tell you? Mark A. Liberman, M.D., F.A.C.S. http://www.clevelandclinic.org/florida/naples/

  14. Well, I spoke w/ my surgeon and he said that in reality, it is best to be at goal for a while, but that if I was really ready to do it, since I was so close to goal, we could go ahead and do it. I didn't start at too high of a bmi, so I am about 19lbs from goal weight. He said w/ the tt and the lipo, I would probably lose 10-15 lbs, so that would put me so close to goal and then I would probably be motivated more to work out and stay at goal. I haven't lost anymore weight, but I have maintained the loss now for about 2 1/2 months, so who knows. Initially I said the tt would be my reward for getting to my goal, but because of work, I had to schedule for today, but I wasn't able to go. We are getting the plans ready to build our dream home and w/ crap at work and trying to sell some investment property it has been just crazy. I also decided I was tired of the carpet in the girl's bedrooms and because their gone went ahead and pulled all the carpet out, and the floor installer has been ill and the rooms are all pulled apart and there is furniture all over my house and oh well, its just crazy. But hey, this isn't a set back, just an opportunity for me to keep my promise of getting to my goal weight and rewarding myself w/ the plastic surgery. Thanks for the encouragement and the right time will be here soon enough. My husband thinks that if I want this as bad as I say, I need to just hop on the plane and go for it. He is on my good side this week, who knows, maybe I will, run off and do it. My boss knows and she told me I can take the time off, but I don't know. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks for responding to me.

Oh, my gosh, don't you hate that. Since I've lost some of my weight my stomach pooches out more than before and last month at my daughter's school year end program I was wearing a beautiful wrap style dress and this little girl asked me "Hey, maam when are you having your baby??" I swear if she wasn't 8, I'd tackle her to the floor, oh she upset me so bad, but what could I do, just smile and walk away. I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me, right then and there. I'm not wearing that dress until I get my tt.
  16. Hi Janine, I'm your neighbor, I am in LaBelle, and I am so happy that there is a fellow bandster near me. I had my surgery on Nov. 4, so we are very close in time since banding. I see you are doing good w/ your weightloss so far, I'm so happy for you. There is a doctor in the Naples area, but when I contacted his office, they told me that he doesn't take patients banded in Mexico, which is my case. Where did you get banded? I have found a wonderful doctor in Miami, his name is Eddie Gomez and as far as fills go, he is very reasonably priced. He charges $300 for a fill w/out flouru and $600 with flouru. I get my fills done w/ out flouru, he never misses my port on the first try and it doesn't hurt one bit. He is very experienced, my port is flipped and he still manages to get it on the first try w/out any trouble. So here is his info, he is going away for two weeks as of next week, I have an appt scheduled for July 6, I am trying to get it changed to this Friday, but Emilio (his asst.) doesnt' know if he can work me in, since, he is pretty busy being this is his last week before he goes away on vacation. Oh, and let me tell you he is really good looking, so thats a plus. Well, I'd really love to meet you sometime, since you are such a short drive away. My sister lives in Naples, so I go out there pretty often. Are you getting sick of the rain, yet? I sure am. WEll talk to you later. Dr. Eddie Gomez 3661 S. Miami Avenue Suite 708 Mercy Professional Building Miami, FL 33133 305-285-5090
  17. Well, I'd be out from my surgery by now, it was scheduled for today, but unfortunatly I had to cancel. Things are just too hectic in my life right now to try and recover from all that surgery. I am pretty disappointed, but I know that the right time will come. Meanwhile, I have called and scheduled a fill with aka Dr. Cutiepie (Dr. Gomez), cause I am sure over due for one. Maybe I can lose the last 20 lbs I have to lose. And I have got to get motivated and start working out, I feel drained all the time and need to energize myself. So send some encouragement my way. So, I guess maybe I can shoot for another date at the end of summer or in the fall sometime. My girls have been gone to Texas w/ my mom for two weeks, so I am really missing them, I'm so glad they come back this week. Well, I'll keep you guys posted regarding my new date.
  18. Yes, gals, please share the info so that we too can share in the wealth.
  19. Love cabbage, loved the cabbage soup diet, especially when I spiced it up, but after two weeks of straight cabbage soup it gets old and yukky...
  20. Kristen, you just have to learn to take one day at a time, is all I can say. I have been banded since Nov, and still have days when I wish I could eat a lot more. For example, last month we went away for three days and we went to this fabulous crab house, well they had a seafood buffet, everything you can imagine and more (I love LOVE seafood) well I had a shrimp appetizer which was more than enough food for me, but I couldn't help but feeling cheated out of all that delicious food. My husband had tons of everything, and I just sat there, slowly chewing my little shrimp. I felt so angry at my band, wishing I didn't have it and wanting to stuff myself full of all that food. They even had fresh baked bread, but could I have any, NO... But you know what, on the way out, my husband saw my disappointment and told me, you know, look at how beautiful you are and how thin you look, it is worth it. And as I walked out in my loose fitting size 12 short shorts, I felt fabulous. This band is my salvation, no more yo-yo dieting for me, just moderation. I can eat delicious food, just less of it, I can enjoy going out and spending time w/ friends. You have to learn that you eat to live, not live to eat... Before eating out was about wolfing down lots of food, only to regret it later and today, I can go out, enjoy a little bit of food and really focus on other things and not just the eating. I look and feel really good and even though I need a fill and have not lost any more weight, I have managed to keep these 34 lbs off and that is a huge success. So you see, there will be some days when you will have bad days, but the good ones, will far outweigh the bad ones. You are just having presurgery jitters and its perfectly normal we all went through that. So good luck and when we are skinny and healthy and more beautiful, we will not look back and regret this at all!!!
  21. The only thing I can't eat is bread and tortillas (flour and corn). But I don't have any problem w/ steak if its cut small and chewed well. And with other foods if I'm in a hurry and eat too fast I get the occassional pbing.
  22. I am so very happy to hear that you are doing well and that you both are taking steps to fix your relationships. You know my grandmother always tells me, that us modern girls give up too soon on a good thing. She says if something is worth fighting for and fixing, why throw it away and start again. YOu might end up with alot worse. She says women now adays want everything the easy way and that we don't want to compromise on anything. Well in part I think at her 90 years she is right, its just that selfish part of me that sometimes doesn't agree. But every relationship is different and difficult, we all have to work at it, and when its worth working for, well more power to you, when its already rotting and can't be fixed then and only then throw it away. Just my 2 cents worth. But I admire John for going to counseling w/ you, my husband and I have been attending counseling 2x a month and it has helped, its not all happiness yet, but some issues are getting resolved. Wishing you all the luck of the world. Love you bunches Penni.
  23. I'm really sorry for you loss. Hope you are feeling better. Sending (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))
  24. They are just beautiful, my girls had their dance recital earlier this month, I'll get pictures posted soon..
  25. Hi everyone, I need your advice. Well this is my dilema, I am now averaging at 156-159 lbs depending on what I eat that day and I was planning on having my tt at the end of this month. I had set a goal of 145 lbs for myself, (I felt I would deserve my tt if I worked hard at it). Well, I am not even close to hitting my goal weight and am faced with a problem.. I had already arranged for the time off work and all. The ps believes that with the tt and lipo I'm getting I will be at goal once all the swelling is gone and I heal up. So do you think I should go ahead and have my tt, without getting to my goal weight? Or should I wait, cause if I wait to get to goal, I won't be abel to take the time off work, as this is the slow time around here. I am also concerned that I will spend the money I have saved up for my plastic surgery. So please give me your opinion on this matter. If I go ahead and go get my procedures, the surgeon will fix my port (since its flipped) at no additional cost. If I don't decide to get the surgery I'll have to have my port stitched into place here, because it is really starting to hurt from where its really pressing against my skin. So I'm probaby better off going ahead with the tt, right??? I'm so confused, should I wait, or go ahead. Help me out in making my decision. My husband is no help, he says he supports anything I decide, but he doesn't want to give me his opinion, cause he says no matter what he tells me he is always wrong. So its up to you guys to give me your 2 cents worth. Tks,
