  1. I was laying on the couch not paying attention & my chi-weenie dog jumped on my stomach! Talk about ouch!' Robyn
  2. Those that drink nectar, do you drink it with milk or Water? Just curious! :-) Robyn
  3. Nurse said I could take it, no problem! :-) Robyn
  4. Mine doesn't allow Jello either on the 2 week full liquid. I am like you, sick thinking about drinking yet ANOTHER Protein drink. What about Popsicles? I am allowed creamed Soups, are you? I am on full liquids for another week (HURRY UP 26th!!), and I am so ready for blenderized foods. Robyn
  5. I know we are only allowed Tylenol after surgery (fine for me bc I am allergic to all NSAIDs anyways), but can I take a Tylenol PM (or half of one)? Or melatonin? Something?? I am having a hard time falling alseep at night, & would like to take something to help me. What has your doctor said? Of course I will call mine before taking anything, don't want anyone giving me medical advice if they aren't "allowed" to! Lol. Robyn
  6. I was on Clear liquids for 7 days, now full liquids for 2 weeks, start blenderized food on the 26th. Follow YOUR doctors orders though, s/he has a specific plan for you to follow bc it is what works for the patients they see. :-) Robyn
  7. My doctor has me on 2500 mcg sublingual a week. I could take it however I want (500/day, once a week, whatever). I found some sublingual that is 1200 mcg. How would you take it it? Right now I am doing two days in a row. Would you spread that out? What do you find gives you the best energy? Thanks! Robyn
  8. No, like you, it doesn't hurt, just feels weird. And I have to arch my back & it helps. Seems like sometimes it is gas?? Sometimes I burp, and sometimes I don't. ::shrug::
  9. I was told Flintstones are easiest for "us" to tolerate. And my doc said to take a calcium citrate supplement. :-)
  10. Am on all liquids. When I "eat" cream soup I notice a lot of "bubbles/gurgles". I don't know how else to describe them, but that's all I can think to describe it. My husband doesn't understand, but hopefully fellow sleeves do! Is this normal? Thanks!
  11. I am the same way with water only! I am 2 weeks post op now, and able to drink a bottle of water in about 30-40 min if I wanted. I can't take large drinks, but I can take a normal "sip" and keep doing that 4-5 times in a row. Put it down, wait a bit, then again. I have no issues drinking water. Other things (milk, no sugar juice, ect) I have to sip. Robyn
  12. I was sleeved the 4th and supposed to go back the 12th. I did half days the 12, 13, 14. Full time starts tomorrow. :-) I feel much much better now. Robyn
  13. Oh ok! I guess I missed that part. Might help to read a little better on my part! Robyn
  14. I don't eat any seafood. Blah! Yuck! Lol. Robyn
  15. Wow your doctor considers cream of wheat a liquid? So interesting how each doctor is so different. I'm not being snarky, or trying to sound rude at all, I am just surprised!! Robyn
  16. All my dr wanted me to focus on the first week was staying hydrated with any Clear liquids. Robyn
  17. Some links I found with a quick google search: http://m.voices.yahoo.com/eating-disney-world-after-gastric-bypass-surgery-4969234.html http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2911142 Robyn
  18. Most restaurants at Disney are buffet & don't have appetizers. Just the little "quick bites" places have things like McD, Chick Fil A, etc. Usually it is just a flat price per person, we've done both the dining plan & without. Spent far more without the dining plan than with. :-) Robyn
  19. So glad you made it thru!! I am almost 2 weeks post op & feel almost 100% normal again. I hope you heal quickly!! Robyn
  20. Thanks everyone! I don't eat seafood. I should have been more clear in the title of the post. :-) I'll look for the canned chicken. Robyn
