  1. Thanks, I'll look for them! Robyn
  2. What do you add to your broth to make it taste better? It tastes awful for me! Blah!! Robyn
  3. Wow still in that much pain? I am mostly just sore. Able to do all the walking I can tolerate, and get up/down with little/no issues. We've been to the mall, to Walmart, walked around the neighborhood. I haven't always looked great (pjs mostly bc my stomach is so swollen I can't get on jeans, and they hurt my incisions), but I don't care. I hope you feel better soon! Robyn
  4. Oh and I was sleeved the same day as you! Robyn
  5. I can sleep on my right side with no issues. It's my left side I can't even think about sleeping on! Robyn
  6. Look great! What was your starting weight? Robyn
  7. You swallow this "shot" of barium & stand in front of an X-ray type machine & they watch the liquid go down. Easy. Now I did throw up after (just the barium), but the nurse said that was common.
  8. Except yourself which is a CHORE!!! Lol
  9. I've been wearing sports bras too!! My hands/arms aren't swollen, just my stomach!!
  10. Wow that's crazy! I had one the next day. When is your follow up visit? I have heard people had them there too. Robyn
  11. Sounds like me except I had to stay an extra day bc of bleeding! I hope you continue to recover as easily. I still have the gas pain/bubbles when I drink. Just keep walking! :-) Robyn
  12. Sorry I am alone & bored tonight! When did you notice the swelling from all the iv meds, etc go away? I go back to work Wednesday & at this rate I won't fit in my work pants!! I am drinking at least 48 oz of Clear liquids a day (sometimes more, if I can tolerate it), and peeing/having bm fine. Thanks! Robyn
  13. I am 5 ft 2, started at 218 (when I first went to the dr), weighed 208 at the hospital on admittance. I want to lose 60-70 lbs. Robyn
  14. I know I can have sf popsicles, but next week (all liquids, only on clear now) does that mean I can have sf fudgesicles? Thanks! Sleeved 9/4 by Dr. Kim in Dallas! Robyn
  15. Just take it as you feel pain. I take it 1-3 times a day. I was sleeved 9/4.
  16. I was also sleeved 9/4, but I haven't had too much nausea. Just in the hospital mostly. I did have some tonight, but I was very exhausted, we went to the mall to walk (it was 106° outside), and I think it really wore me out! I came home & slept 2 hours, woke up bc I was thirsty, and all the sudden got über nauseous. I feel better now that I am drinking again, maybe it was bc I had been drinking all day (water & crystal light), and stopped so suddenly? I hope it goes away!! Robyn
  17. I was released Thursday & I have had diarrhea at least 1 time a day since. Do you think it's just from the anesthesia? I am able to get in my liquids just fine, no issues. Also my Vitamins & b12. Been taking the Prilosec they prescribed. No pain meds since 3 am (yay!), or nausea meds since last night (another yay!). Up at 7 this morning, watched tv, took a 2 hour nap, watched a movie, took a shower, dried & straightened my hair, read part of a book & going to go walk at the mall (bc it's 104° here today, yuck!!). So what do you think the diarrhea is from? :-( I don't feel bad when it happens. Robyn
  18. Oh no! I hope you heal quickly!! Robyn
  19. Mine makes weird noises, and sometimes it's like I have to burp, but it doesn't quite get all the way there. That hurts! Robyn
  20. They gave me pain meds plenty of times, anytime I asked really. Also nausea medicine. I get very nauseous from anesthesia, and warned ahead of time. I had zofran every 6 hours for the first 24 hours I would say! Wednesday wasn't as bad, threw up twice (minimal amount, about 1 tbsp, was from the barium swallow test). They said lots get sick from that. I am mostly just sore. Walking around fine, no issues. I don't like having the "have to burp feeling" bc it hurts! Robyn
