  2. Me too!! It's motivation to me. I can't much difference my body in the 2nd & 3rd photo, more so in my face. Doesn't look as wide IMO. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. July 14/October 4/October 20 Not sure if you can tell a huge difference between the 2 October pics. Starting weight preop 213, surgery 9/4, weight 10/19 184.1. I'm 5 ft 2 in case anyone was wondering. And....today I bought a pair of size 32 (13) pants!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. Don't get discouraged! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. They will check your incisions. Possibly give you a barium swallow test. Tell you more in depth how the surgery went. What Vitamins you need to take/add, weigh you, make another follow up. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. I weigh myself daily, but for some reason it doesn't bother me what the scale says. I can tell other ways I am losing & go by that more than the scale. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. Some days I am able to eat a lot, some days I am not. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. You look great!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. Do you have to open it? I would just open mine & swallow the little bits with Water. Dumped them in my mouth & swallow. They didn't have a taste. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  11. I think I have a cold, but I am absolutely miserable. Stuffy/runny nose, cough, sore & scratchy throat, stopped up ears. All the day before my month follow up (really its 6 weeks bc I couldn't get in at 1 month). I've managed to eat a little, but I am not very hungry. I've had a lot of Water today though. 12. I really would love to down some NyQuil right now. I feel awful. :-( Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. I called the hospital. I'm not sure. You'd have to look it up! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  14. My hospital didn't use any from this compounding pharmacy that they know of. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  15. I just wanted to show this to you. I read thru it, and while I can't say where MY drugs given to me during my surgery came from, I can say I know I had AT LEAST 3 from the list. This is the list from the meningitis outbreak. Not to scare anyone, but to be informed. http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm322979.htm Sent from my iPhone using VST
  16. Another NSV I thought of today. I haven't asked my husband to rub my feet, or my back since about 3 weeks after surgery! They don't hurt anymore! 28 lbs down & 6 weeks post op tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, my back may hurt a little during the day, but not like it did before, and my feet certainly don't hurt like they used to!
  17. You are NEVER allowed to take any NSAIDs. That is aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. unless your doctor is different, mine (and most I've heard) say no NSAIDs ever again.
  18. Sleeved 9/4 & down 26.6 lbs last I checked. I weigh daily but don't freak if the scale hasn't moved, or has moved up slightly, as I know weight fluctuates. I also can tell by the way clothes fit from day to day.
  19. I was sleeved almost 6 weeks ago. I would do it again. I had no major, or minor complications. :-)
  20. I would say no, and I would call your doctor ASAP. But, I am not a medical professional.
  21. I can cross my legs! Yay!
  22. I take a 100 oz bottle of water to work everyday & try to drink half. Usually I don't quite get to half, but pretty close! I will work harder on that!
  23. I know it takes a while to get over major surgery, but I feel like I wasn't as tired between weeks 4-now. I am wondering if maybe I am not getting enough protein? I have been averaging 40-50 grams a day. I'm more sleepy tired. I've napped almost every day this week, which hasn't been like me since about week 3. Thoughts?
  24. I do 3 meals & at least 1, but usually 2, Snacks.
