I Don't Have Apple Sauce! Gerd Question

I'm supposed to take my Nexium pill with apple sauce but my crazy kids ate my last one behind my back lol. I was wondering what other people take their GERD meds with? I ended up taking mine with a tbsp of apple juice today because I couldn't find anything else :/

Do you have to open it? I would just open mine & swallow the little bits with Water. Dumped them in my mouth & swallow. They didn't have a taste.
