Tylenol Pm?

I know we are only allowed Tylenol after surgery (fine for me bc I am allergic to all NSAIDs anyways), but can I take a Tylenol PM (or half of one)? Or melatonin? Something?? I am having a hard time falling alseep at night, & would like to take something to help me. What has your doctor said? Of course I will call mine before taking anything, don't want anyone giving me medical advice if they aren't "allowed" to! Lol. ;-)

Tylenol pm has benedryl in it to make you sleepy. Benedryl is on the approved list for post. So I would say ok.

Nurse said I could take it, no problem! :-)
