thinathart got a reaction from Beth.M in Diet Green Tea
My NUT approved all lipton and snapple diet teas. I love them!
I was a diet coke addict. 8+ months without a sip.

thinathart got a reaction from caligirl3 in Be honest - does anyone regret the surgery?
I'm 41 (pushing 42) and I needed to lose at least 100 lbs. I've lost 90 in 8 months. It's the best gift I EVER gave myself. I don't regret the surgery or the power it has given me to control what I eat. I have my life back.

thinathart got a reaction from TheRealMeIsHere! in Seriously? Does everyone exercise?
I try to do it first thing in the morning before work. If I waited until after work, I would be able to talk myself out of it. I didn't exercise the first 6 months and now I really wished I would have. I hate exercise and I don't like going to the gym (at all), but I feel so good after I'm done and I've reached my exercise goal for the day. I don't see myself ever "liking it", more of tolerating it.

thinathart got a reaction from Lovechunks in Besides weight loss, what has been the biggest benefit since getting surgery?
My mother-in-law had to finally say I looked very nice (after 20 yrs)!
Seriously, off the BP meds, and my severe disc degeneration is 100% times better. I can actually move without pain now! Best thing I ever did.

thinathart got a reaction from MystiGal in Worried
I wish I could turn back the clock and have this surgery at 27, rather than 41. I feel like I wasted so much time not enjoying life because of my weight. It is the BEST thing I have ever done for myself!

thinathart got a reaction from H-1971 in Chicken and meat
I try to make sure my chicken/beef is really moist. Whether I need to add some low cal ranch dressing or steak sauce. If it's dry, it doesn't work for me. Now that i's grilling season, I pretty much have to use some type of condiment with grilled meat just to make it moist enough to tolerate (other wise it comes back up).

thinathart got a reaction from Hotlilnurse in Secret Sleevers?
I'm going on 11 months out, down 104 lbs and I only told my DH and my BFF. That's it. No family members, no office workers, nobody else. I'm so glad I did.
