My surgery is in about 2 weeks, and I start my nutrition class tomorrow. I'm starting to get the nervous fat girl problems! I'm worried I'll never be able to eat again or enjoy food anymore! is this true? and the holidays are coming up what do we do about holidays? This is another reason I wanted the surgery because I feel my life revolves around food lol Ugggh! I need to calm down.. Did anyone regret the surgery? or their decision to have the surgery?

OMG I know right?! mine says to be around 150ish, I'm like uhhh, I can barely maintain being under 270 my big body will never get to those numbers! lol but apparently it is possible! It's amazing!

Mmmm cheesecake.. lol my downfall though is chips! I don't discriminate.. I love them all.. lol but I'm assuming I won't be able to eat those for a while or ever again... I go into a crazy zone when I'm eating my chips.. and nobody better throw off my groove.. I'll hurt ya! hahaha

I hear ya chica! I was all over the insurance lady at Dr. Currys office like everyday emailing her! I get it lol and she sent me the email saying she's sending it to insurance, she sent it on august 3rd and they made their decision on august 6th and I got my letter august 10th so I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing something very soon

I dunno if it is too personal to ask.. But I was wondering what is everyones top weight and goal weight? I'm just curious to see? My Top weight is 298, My weight now is 269 and my goal weight is 165 * i think? lol maybe I'm just nosy

I know right?! I'm kinda in shock as of right now. because in a week and a couple days I'll be starting pre-op diet ( yay.. sarcasm) and then boom! On the tenth we're getting sleeved! It really is surreal. I'm happy and anxious all at the same time, how you feeling Mufasasmom?

I'm the queen of awkward. ( Really I am) and I had the same problem. I was wondering how would I bring it up what would he say blah blah blah.. But my bmi is 40 and I have health problems, I needed a 5 year history of my obesity so I just awkwardly shoved the paper at him lol I was like uhhh can you fill this out? haha and he told me that he will support my decision but he thought I should try the new weight loss pill first before taking such drastic steps because he said I'm so young and have time to do so if the pills and stuff didn't work, but that is the reason I decided to do it because I am young and I don't want anymore health problems. so Good luck to you! lol * i know I kinda rambled*

Just because they want a bmi of 40 plus doesn't have to mean anything because my insurance wanted a bmi of 40 or 35 with an ailment, so maybe ms and your knees will help them push this through. Don't give up! stay strong! Keep on your insurance! Make them push it through! Best of luck to you!
