ok so I am concerned a bit ! I am 9 days out of surgery and have been on clear liquids thus far ; I had my post op appt today and the surgeon told me to come home and eat some eggs he told me to start my soft foods diet ....didnt mention anything about a full liquid or purree or anything he just said start your soft foods then next week start the regular foods just dont eat steak ! personally I feel like he is off his rocker, I have been having such a tough time even dealing with the clear liquids ..isnt it unsafe to advance that quickly ..I basicall had to ask him about each other phase and he was like " well if you insist go ahead and do the full liquids for a day or 2 " this is nothing like what my nut and I talked about they way i understood was that i wouldnt even be on soft foods until 6 weeks out ... advice or input ..?! I want to lose as much weight as possible and PROTECT THE SLEEVE 1

Just curious as to what everyone's goal weight and size is ?! and how tall you are and your age <3 My surgeons goal weight is from 105-112-_- I personally think I will look sickly at that weight so I made my own personal goal of nothing bigger then a size 9 and a weight of 125 <3 I am 21 and stand at 5'4

I got mine done 8 days before my surgery date ! upon my approval the surgeons office called and scheduled everything at the hospital !

thank you all so much guess it is his plan I also worked my butt off and lost 19 pounds the month befor surgery thnaks this help put my mind at ease <3

I have been reading so much about a 2 week liquid preop diet ..is it weird that i was instructed to only complete a 4 day liquid diet ??? surgery wednesday ...full thickness liquid diet saturday and sunday clear liquids monday and tuesday nothing after 12am on tuesday ..makes me a little nervous has anyone else had a preop diet that short ?!

I AM HAVING A CRAZY AMOUNT OF PREOP JITTERS AND NERVES ! Is this normal how do I control them !!?? I am 5 days preop and i am getting the cold feet ! i know i want and need this surgery but i am so overwhelmed and scared!!! HELP :'(

I will be sleeved august 15th :D
