  1. I have 1 pound to hit my ultimate Xmas goal.
  2. Donny was handsome before too but now we all can see a happier Donny now. That's probably the single most attractive trait anyone can have...happiness found within oneself. But my previous statement stands. Lol.
  3. Looks like I'm gonna hit my Xmas goal by my birthday tomorrow. I weighed in at 271.8 this morning. My ultimate goal is 270 cuz I surpassed my initial Xmas goal of 275 a few days ago. So I'm down about 44 now since 11/20.
  4. I drink a chocolate muscle milk light every morning. Cannot tolerate eggs. I eat fish or chicken at lunch. I have a dannon light and fit Greek yogurt with a scoop of unflavored Protein and a shot of MIO. I eat a string cheese if I think of it and my dinner is fish or chicken. Oh and super steamed and mashed broccoli. Everytime I try something new it just doesn't work. It gets stuck or feels gross. Just not liking food these days.
  5. Absolutely. I'm not liking anything. It's why I pretty much eat the same thing everyday. It's all I can tolerate.
  6. Be prepared for it to possibly be a bad one. Mine came 9 days early and was horrible. But i find my PMS to be a little behind that. I'd love to plant my fist in people's faces. Just saying. I stalled out prior to the period, thru my period and came out of the stall a day or two later.
  7. Congrats to you gorgeous ladies. I'm so excited for you and me. Lol. I'm 4 weeks out and down 40. I'm really looking forward to being 6 months and more out. It's gonna be great! Please keep the updates coming.
  8. Great job Patrick! You are doing an amazing job! Keep it up!
  9. Save a horse, ride a cowboy ladies. That's all I'm gonna say.
  10. I'm currently testing half caff right now.
  11. Just out of an almost 2 week stall. 8 pounds from my Christmas goal.
  12. The scale is finally moving again. Weighed in at 278 this morning. 8 pounds left to my ultimate Christmas goal. Preop weight was 320, day of surgery 315 so a total of 37 down. My surgery was 11/20/12. Very happy this morning.
  13. I'm still in a stall (9 days). And I got my period yesterday 9 days early. And it's brutal. I'm hoping to start losing again.
  14. I am still trying to find a flavored one I can live with. I was sleeved on 11/20. I use jarrow's unflavored Protein. It's a little earthy. And it dulls the flavor of what you are having so I season my broths or Soups after I add the protein a little. And when I add it to my Dannon light and fit strawberry yogurt, I add a squirt of fruit punch Mio to it. Really good.
  15. You're taste buds will change after surgery. Don't spend a ton now prior to surgery. I do recommend finding an unflavored one though. You can add it to anything and you're gonna want it to break up the constant sweet protein shakes. Ugh.
  16. I'm in a stall but it is to be expected. Certain foods do not sit well with me. It's trial and error for me. I'm just trying new things very slowly and I have a backup in case the new food doesn't work. Ad the blander the better I am finding. I cannot eat too much but I can drink more Protein which is nothing new to many of us. I also returned to work on Thursday. I worked 3 12-hour shifts in a row, today is my first day off. I'm exhausted. But I slept well last night. Got 9 hours in. So I'm ready to walk the beach, get some errands done and get back on the losing train. Good luck everyone and remember stalls are just a part of the process.
  17. ~ Surgery Date (SD): 11/20/12 ~ Starting Weight (SW): 320, pre-op weight 315 ~ Current Weight (CW): 283 ~ Goal Weight (GW): 275, with an ultimate goal of 270 cuz it would be a nice belated birthday present for myself (birthday is 12/21). Tally
  18. It's called an abdominal binder. You can buy them online or in places like Walgreens, Walmart, etc. Or you can do what I did and get a compression garment. Got mine at Walmart. It's one of those tank tops that smooths out lumps and bumps, etc. it goes along way to helping you move and be somewhat active.
  19. I just woke up last night to this burning in my chest. Took a tums...ok two and it relieved it long enough for me to fall back asleep but I just woke back up to it. It's weird how this stuff happens to so many of us. Just gotta get hold of someone at the office.
  20. I was sleeved on 11/20. And I have lost 32 pounds so far. I walk, walk, walk every day. I'm lucky to live very close to the beach. Walking on the sand is much more forgiving to my joints. I think what helps me is I get all my protein in, all fluids and all vitamins. I do still have a shake in the morning because it jump starts my protein intake for the day. And it seems to make me tolerate my vitamins so much better. But I do need to stop weighing myself everyday.
