  7. That's awesome!! And you're right...it is our time!
  8. My grandmother gave me good advice when I went through my divorce. "Pick your battles. Small enough to win, but big enough to matter." That being said...you need to respect, love and care about you, your mind, your heart and especially your spirit. If you don't, no one else will. And if you learn to and your husband still doesn't, then he is not for you. It is well and truly his loss. Be there for your kids. Become the mother you AND your kids can be proud of. Just remember that you are WORTHY of so much more.
  9. Here's one more you that I think given what you've shared about yourself here on VST will strike a cord. I know given my own past, it helps me... Listen closely: the only time it's too late to change yourself is when you're dead. Until then, you're simply making excuses or lying to yourself. And we are making great strides to improving ourselves and our lives. To do it right, we have to break life down to the base element. If we cannot care and love ourselves...how can we do so for others and not be a fraud?
  10. I'm glad to hear it. I hope your healing is going as great as possible.
  11. You're the best chad!! Hugs! Here's some more food for thought...We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them. Read that online today. Wanted to share.
  12. Pretty much anything Jillian michaels. I especially love combining her body revolution series and yoga slim down. Omg. So good. Great mix of cardio, strength training and yoga poses.
  13. One step at a time. You will get to your goal in time. I think this whole process before and after surgery is an exercise in patience. And I have none let me tell you. But I'm learning. Keep us updated on your progress.
  14. Check out the November 2012 folder. There's a few in there.
