  1. I only had mine for the 2 days I was in the hospital. They took it out when they removed my I.v. it was a gross feeling coming out, I wanted her to pull faster cuz it turned my tummy. The tube seemed like it was 3 ft long though. It just kepth coming and coming and as she was pulling it out I could feel it filpping around and hitting my intestines. Yuck!
  2. Highest 304 Surgery date 8/2/12 - 289 Today 277 I'm 4 weeks out and at a stalll ugh! Down 27lbs and holding. Very depressing.
  3. There's a cereal called special k protein and it has a lot of protein in it. I'm 4 weeks out and I eat it with a little splinda and 0% skim milk. Very good. I just wait a second till it gets a little Soggy. Lol
  4. I love spicy foods and even more now after surgery, however not being able to drink with meals anymore kinda cuts that out. Lol I steer clear of fried foods like that they are loaded with carbs.
  5. I'm 4 weeks out and I have hit a stall. I know it happend to most of us, but I'm just wondering how long it will last? If you hit a stall how long did it last before the scale started dropping again?
  6. Just watch the carbs, they are the killers. Sugar free pudding goes down good and jello but have no protein.
  7. I'm so comfused. I have been doing so good and working out at the gym so hard. Been so excited to look at the numbers on the scale going down but suddenly there not moving anymore? Wth? I'm doing the same things I have done since surgery when I was losing weight as I'm doing now but for some reason the weights not coming off the same. Only 1 lb down this week when its usually like 7? Any advise to brake this stall? Pleasseee help. I knew I would hit a stall but hoped it would be later rather than sooner. Know I feel lost and hopless.
  8. My surgery was aug 2nd and since I have been taking 2 chewable flintstone vitamins. I was told we would drop down to one vitamin soon I was woundering when i t will be o.k to start taking just one a day? I don't want to call my dr just to ask that. Any ideas?

  11. I can easily eat almost a cup of food before I stop because I know I shouldn't eat that much. I am 12 days out and have never tossed my food back up. I don't if Im even getting full or not. What are some of the signs of being full. I'm starting to think I have a large sleeve. I'm still on liquids right now, I have a few more days before I start puree. Is eatting this much normal and how do I know if I'm full?
  12. Thanks. I go to the dr tomarrow for my 1 week check up and to get my stiches taken out. I'm hoping he will say I can have some purees. I have recovered so good and fast I almost feel like I never had surgery. To me I fell normal so I fell like I should be eatting normal. I'm not even sore.
  13. I ment I dream of the day I get to start soft foods.
  14. I'm 7 days out and I dream of this day.
  15. Thanks every one. I was so worried about my hair falling out if I didn't get it all in. So many decisions and things to think about.
