We need more information. What are you eating? How often? Are you meeting your Protein and Fluid goals? Are you drinking calories? Are you tracking calories?
Give some diet details and people can give more accurate responses.

The larger your starting size, the longer it takes to see a difference and to drop clothing sizes.
You need to lose 40-50 pounds to go from a size 3x to a 2x. You need to lose 10-15 pounds to go from a size 8 to a 6.
Believe me, once you hit Onderland, it'll become quite noticeable and the sizes will fly by.

My lowest weight was 132. I was running and eating less so I am taking up running Couch25K again...I kinda dread it cause it was so hard to work up to but have no choice..I have to move. I will be 3 years out in April.

Yes, because that is the type of Tummy Tuck I opted for (the incision was not related to the hernia). If it is too invasive for you, by all means you can just have the horizontal incision. I figured I was paying $11,000, I was opting for the best possible results and for me that included curves on my sides. My other thought aside from the cost, was I did not want to not be unsatisfied with the results and have to go through the pain and healing again.

Protein: minimum 75 grams per day
    Carbs: maximum 60 per day
Calories -- varies depending on how much you weigh and how fast you want to lose. Basically, as a starting point, take your current weight. Multiply it by 10. Then subtract 500. Use that as your resulting calorie limit to lose approximately 1 lb per week. So, if you weigh 180 lbs, try eating 1300 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week. If you want to lose 2 lbs per week, eat 800 calories per day. If you weigh 190, then those numbers would be 1400 and and 900, respectively. Every time you lose 10 lbs, readjust your calorie intake in order to keep losing at the same rate. If these numbers don't work for you, then play around and get them to a place where they do work. These are just rules of thumb to use as a starting point.
A couple more ideas that you may find helpful:
--make sure you are weighing virtually all your food portions, no guessing or estimating
--don't drink liquid calories other than a max of one Protein Shake per day
--focus on eating unprocessed meat and green veggies in order to stay satisfied and keep cravings for junk at bay
--do not attempt to count calories burned or "eat back" exercise calories.
    Good luck!

Oh, don't even get me started on that! People who don't keep their Protein up and don't exercise are completely dooming themselves. By the time I reached my goal weight I had GAINED seven pounds of muscle. That is definitely key to helping keep metabolism strong. By the numbers, you would think I was a slow loser (and I was), but one of the reasons those fast losers lose so fast is they are losing precious precious muscle.

It to me a year to hit my goal of 140. Generally, I maintain at 135-140. I gain or lose weight based on my body goals at the time. This summer, I dieted down to 131-133 because I had my HS reunion and needed to get into that dress.

I find it sad but motivating. I would be in total denial if I pretended that I got to over 260 pounds without some of the same mental issues that many of the participants have. I watch it and it makes me eat better for the rest of the day.

    Hello all,
I have learned a ton from everyone's reviews on this site, so am hoping I can do the same for something else. I had a T Tummy Tuck and full upper inner thigh lift along with a hernia repair on December 29th. The surgery was six hours and the doctor removed five pounds of skin. The surgery went great. The day after surgery my hemoglobin became low, which required a blood transfusion. For that reason, I stayed two nights in the hospital. I live nearly two hours from the hospital, but took medication just before leaving and do not remember much of the ride home.
A couple things that have been life savers for me are; I rented a reclining lift chair and purchased a toilet seat riser. The incisions from my thigh lift go around the back of my leg, under by butt cheek, which makes it very difficult to sit on ANYTHING, therefore I use the bathroom holding myself up on the handles on the seat riser. I purchased a shower chair but becuase I cannot sit have not used it and also purchase a walker, but have not needed that. I feel fortunate from what I have seen on other posts because I can walk standing perfectly straight. Don't get me wrong, it takes me a minute to get stretched out when I stand up, but not bad at all. I have stayed on top of medication, taking pain medication every fours hours, along with Vitamins, Iron, laxitive, etc. I had my first bowl movement today, not as bad as I expected, but I sure am glad it's over with.
I have five drains and was able to take my first shower yesterday, which was amazing! I have been recording the drain output three times a day and they are doing great. I have to call tomorrow to schedule my post-op appointment. They all take place on Saturdays, so I am planning to go down December 7th to have some of the drains removed. I am prepared to keep a couple, but based on the minimal drainage, it would be amazing if he removed them all.
My insurance paid for the hernia repair and most of the tummy tuck. My out of pocket expense was $11,300.
I am attaching a couple pictures for reference and would be happy to answer any questions I can.
