In general, surgeons aren't looking for post WLS skin to reuse as it is stretched out. A teaching hospital may offer some kind of deal for plastics if residents can assist or otherwise learn from it.

I tried the tea once and while it worked, I did have some minor cramping for a few days. Point is, "your individual mileage may vary" as the saying goes. I use it only when in dire need now. Apparently, going about 4 times a week is my new normal.

Honestly, everyone worries so much about protein the first week but it isn't necessary. Focus on staying hydrated, walking and getting rest. Good luck!

I found this to be somewhat true. And Botox and Juvederm work great.

Same with mine.

Amazon Prime would be stellar. I live in a small town, no Supercenter just a regular Walmart.

Honestly, I usually don't reply. I do amuse myself by reading the threads and all the pre-op people who respond with-- "It's no big deal, you'll be fine" on all the cheating and 'should I eat this' threads. It's like asking the alcoholic if you should have a drink. When I do rarely reply, I simply respond that if they are pre-op they should postpone surgery. If they are post-op then I tell them they should want more for themselves and that french fries and chicken nuggets are not worth a complication at 5 days out and leave it at that. Somehow and I don't know how, I have yet to called a bully or sent a PM to that effect after over 4 years on here.
Lipstick lady, I think I recently read a thread where you and Babbs tried to tell someone they were effing the whole thing up and the thread just deteriorated from there. My favorite reply was you telling the pre-ops and newly sleeved something to the effect that they were right and you were wrong and you would just walk away in your size 8 skinny jeans. I guess I just figure that those folks choose to be a statistic, the percentage of people for whom WLS "didn't work".

Similar to Old Navy; Ann Taylor, Loft and Macy's (Style & Co brand) carry three different cuts of jeans based on your body shape. I find the latter to be a softer denim over Old Navy. They also offer 3 inseams to choose from though tall has to be ordered online. I recommend going to any one of these store and if their curvy fit works for you, then they will all work for you from these three stores.
A tip: curvy fit at AT and Loft is also called Julie and Kate fit.
