Hey Cathy, you're welcomed to post here anytime, another place we hang out is the NJ Nov chat thread, changes month to month by the way, great group of ladies there, it's like we've all met and "hang out" together. Awesome 20 lbs, that is great. Hope the band is working well with you. Staunton, beautiful town and area, please take a picture of the trees and post it on here for all our gal pals to see the beauty where you live. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing those pictures.

Janine, are you getting your proteins in? That's very important, even after you start eating food.

Sherry, you know we love your posts, long or short Gina, I remember Kat was supposed to go to pick or rake or what ever they do to harvest pecans, but what I didn't and don't remember is when she was getting her thryroid lumps checked or removed, but ty for helping me out. Girls, Gina is from Virginia and the same doctor did her surgery that did mine and she's lost a lot of weight in a short period of time....WTG Gina! Betty, pm me your home address again, I have some Harley stuff to send you, I know it's written down somewhere, hmmm just where. Mandy, do you still have the list from last year where we got addresses from the NJ girls so we could do Christmas cards for those interested. I had it, but got a new computer and gone in a flash, LOL. Wait, it might be on my office computer, I moved my home computer there, I'll check and see. Any how, if you're interested, just pm me with your address. Where's Cindy? She's one busy lady since she "retired". Anne, get back in here. Chrispy, well, we know where you are, heehee. Anyone hear from Diane, signgirl lately, woohoo Diane come play with us.:bounce: Later girlies.

My mom and I ate at Azteca Plaza last week, we had to roll out of that place. I was ashamed of myself with all the chips and cheese dip I ate, I was very bad, but boy was it good. When I was on mushies, Taco Bell was one of my fav places, refried Beans baby! One day I can eat cheese and nachos, the next day I can't, I think it just depends on that first bite. Good luck and congratulations.

Betty, we bought the boat from a guy who purchased it new in Feb and decided to sell everything he owned and move to Colorado. He had named the boat "liquid Assets", I discovered it was considered bad luck to change the name, so we're going to leave it that name. So now we have a boat that we bought in January, that still has the tags hanging in the cabin, for sale. I think I mentioned this on another thread of maybe even this one, LOL. As for a picture, my pc doesn't recognize my DVD player, so I can't download the software I need to reduce the size, so that's supposed to be fixed Monday, my tech thinks it's Vista related, it will be the third DVD player. Boy everyone must have been busy this weekend, but me, it's been very quiet around here. Has anyone heard from Kat, hope she's ok. Take care girlies.

Well Ms Sherry, weren't we a little long winded this morning. That Paula Dean sure pumps you up. I don't know if I liked that copper bottom, would be a beee-auch to keep clean.

New Here From VA
Dr. T did my surgery almost 3 years ago, great doctor and staff, good luck with the insurance approval...they also accept cash... I graduated from York High School, and so did both of my grown sons, so that should tell you it was a long time ago. Welcome to LBT and let us know when you get the news.

What are your favorite, but hated Stereotypes...
That blue collar workers/construction workers are ignorant and druggies. I've owned a roofing business for 35 years and the home owners always talk down to y roofers and office employees. They have attempted to do so with me as well, but after 35 years I don't take too much chit :woot:. They usually they will tell me they want to speak to my boss, I just tell them, "this is as high as it gets". I always start out nice, unless they've disrespected one of my employees, then it's on! My delivery driver has 6 years of college, LOL. Be kind to your roofer and your repairman, they're not all out to screw you, we're all just trying to make a living . LMAO, not to stereotype, but doctors and engineers are the absolute worse, I just had to share that, :heh:.

Am I the only one who is paying cash?
I paid $16,750.00, plus incidentals, (that was three years ago, who know what it is now). Would do it again in a heart beat .

Constantly feel band
I've never felt my band, my port often, but never my band. I've felt pressure around the band because I've not chewed enough. My mom says she can feel hers, but I think she's crazy too, ......just kidding, LOL.
-
what would others do
Just don't give up and don't look for the band to do all the work, it's a tool to help you. It's easy to get discouraged, but you have to help your band-help you. I have not lost any weight in over a year, but I'm ok with that, because I haven't gained, but I try to remember to eat Protein first. I know what my problem is and that is that I don't exercise, no one to blame, but me. Start over, it's not too late, you still have the band, take a deep breath and take it a day at a time. It's NOT too late! Hugs

Do You? You know use that word!
"Screw it. I'm going to go all out on this one. Your friends and anyone that says the word even in a joking matter are ignorant. I correct anyone that says the word. I'm not a weak person and I don't tolerate b.s. It's wrong when we're called fat by skinny people or other fat people. That being said, I am realistic to know that the word is never going to go away. The basis of compassion and empathy is that you apply it to people that you don't even know". Sharee.....you go girl!

Bye-Bye Band
So sorry to hear you lost your band Crystal, that's my biggest fear. I wish you well.

Wheetsin, got a question for you...
I use Vista on my home PC and my new HP laptop, I don't have any problems at all. I don't find it any slower than my XP at the office. I think it's all personal choice. I had my business computer tech advise me on which laptop to purchase, which I got from CompUSA, with a printer freebie and rebate. If you do not have a tech availiable, talk to one of the young guys at CompUSA, you can tell after a few questions if he knows his stuff or not and get his advice on which to purchase. They really love to share their knowledge.

When I got really craving something to munch on I used ice chips and s/f hard candy, until it disolved. Congrats on the band Judy, sorry if I missed it earlier, but did Dr. T or Clark do your surgery? Diane, PM me or call me and tell me what that post was about.
