    Omg

I love all you all said! fitting in seats and not having to panic inside as to IF you will fit... buying clothes because you LOVE them not grumbling about why they think big ladies don't like cute.... and being healthy my biggest goal of all... and then there is this...when my oldest daughter was a teen I asked her "do I look like a baby whale in this outfit?" and her reply was 'are you suppose to look like a baby whate in it" so I look forward to someday SOON asking my grand-daughter the same question and having her reply "oh grandma you're so silly you can't look like a whale"

    Food Funeral

I haven't had the surgery yet...still learning up and hitting meetings now to get the medical end, but one thing I can say that might help...I had a ruptured brain aneurysm a few years ago and I spent months in hospitals, didn’t even have much memory but when I woke up in the last hospital months down this road… I saw someone smoke outside I had no idea what it was and remember months have past so I had no drug habit left in me for them. But I knew I wanted one! So even when we cannot really think our old habits are hard to break… this journey with food bad vs good and all I’m expecting it to be long and not always easy but we can retain our heads so accept mistakes and plow forward. It seems to me that you are all doing great.

    Where are the 50s ???

thanks Kat1 for responding I've read a LOT here but it's the terms used about foods and such and I was wondering if there is a forum section here that relates to that and also to the diet rules or typically recommended diet rules... I suppose on the issue of diet I'll find out at the meeting thurs. was just wanting to hear about it in real time from people who live with it always now. Thanks Cheri

    Where are the 50s ???

I'm new here and still gathering the facts, I was thinking Band but I really think the sleeve is better for me... I have many reasons to have the surgery, had ruptured brain aneurysm surgery (04) so need to keep that BP DOWN! Had open heart surgery (06) and became a diabetic afterwards… quit smoking at bypass which is great BUT oops gained 70 lbs in 4 mos. Not so good… I am starting to notice some major bad things happening to this beat up body and getting my weight under control is the only way to stop things and even enable me to turn some things around and say good-bye to them… I have an appt. for a VSG session at the hospital next Thursday. In the meantime how do you find out about this diet? All these terms confuse me a bit. Thanks…

May 23Rd And Ready For My Surgery

sounds like a great idea to have it done at the same time or close to it.... can eat the same and totally understand each other...I worry about this a bit with my room-mate which is my sister, she eats everything and anything so it might be hard on me to say no but my mind AND heart is set on this

1 Year Out An Its Not Good.

About the knee pain, I have a lot of pain in my body from nerve damage and what I learned was to exercise in water! I go the to pool and walk and do all sorts of work out you can even get wts to train with in the water... no pain...love it!
