I'm at the beginning of this process... long story short. I had brain surgery for a ruptured brain aneurysm, follow with open heart surgery... which then I became a diabetic...so now I find my sight being affected and I'm worried about my "bad" leg... I am fat, I have been trying hard to lose wt, but it's not happening. I heard about this surgery vs lapband and now I'm really thinking this would be the smartest choice for me. so now I am trying to learn about the ups and downs and foods I will need to stock up on, I'm going to a meeting shortly and I have to find a way to pay for this.... I'm a bit hard to insure because of my aneurysm and open heart surgery even though I am healthy now, totally except for the diabetes.
