Omg one of my incisions itches like a mother. It's taking everything in me not to scratch the hell out of it!! Ugh. The ones close to my navel are just a tad sore. I guess thats where my old pouch was.

Thank you for responding! I'm just trying to be cautious and make sure I'm doing everything right. I'm going to call and ask about the roaring tomorrow. It doesn't hurt. It's just weird.

Hi Everyone, I was sleeved on the 17th, I feel myself 1. still somewhat tired. 2. my sleeve roars and makes these weird noises. Idk what's going on but it actually scares me. I think it's trying to tell me its hungry. Not sure. B/c the feeling is different than before. One time I was trying to eat applesauce and my sleeve started like twisting and roaring so I immediately stopped. Is that a sign that I shouldn't try to eat any applesauce? Idk. I feel like I'm not really eating b/c I don't know when I'm hungry I just keep trying to feed myself every few hours while I'm awake. Also, my tummy is still pretty sore. It hurts to cough, laugh and even if I like twist the wrong way when I'm trying to get up off the couch. Oh and I have still have yet to have a bowel movement. WTH! Is this all normal? Please help. Thanks~!!

I was sleeved on the 17th. Stopped all diabetes medicines the day of surgery. My sugars have been in the low 100's ever since. I see my endocrinologist next week. So we'll see what she says!

I had surgery on Tuesday. I was extremely tired the first two days I came home. Yesterday, I was able to stay up a little longer. I think it's normal. Just make sure someone wakes you up every few hours so you can get your liquids in! Good luck~!!

Hi Everyone!! Where are all the July 17th Sleevers? Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I'm doing pretty well. There's one incision that itches like a mother but I refuse to scratch it! Lol. Otherwise all is well. I'm over this liquid diet but I know it'll be over shortly. How's everyone else?

Oh wow. I stopped taking the pain meds Bc they make me nauseous. My tummy is sore but I started coughing and that's making it worst. I think it's the air in my house. Like its circulating through my nostrils and down my throat. Lol. anyway, I'm hoping to be able to go walking outside today and to be able to sit up a bit more. I didn't sleep well last night. Had a weird dream. Let me know how everything is going with you! I'll log on via computer later to see how everyone else is doing (right now I'm on my cell). Ttyl!

Thanks for all the prayers everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to post sooner. I've been super tires. Got home yesterday. I'm off the pain meds. Tummy is just a little sore. Hello Everyone! I just woke up and surprisingly I'm calmer than what I expected myself to be. Surgery was moved up to 7:30 AM. I'm overwhelmed with emotions. I keep asking myself if I'm sure that I want to do this. I've been looking forward to this day so idk why I feel like backing out at the last minute...? Anyway, I know I'm going to go through with it but I do feel kind of weird. Ok. I'm going to stop typing now Bc the tears are starting to flow. Aaaahhhhhhh!!! We Fall Down But We Get Up!!!! Good for you Nikki. First off, reading how easy it has been for you reassures me (in a way). I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow and am fearful of post op complications. So, reading how you've pretty much pushed your sleeve to the limit definitely brings reassurance to my fears. That's not to make light of the situation. But, I am so happy that you are not experiencing any complications with your sleeve AND that you have made a conscious effort to get yourself into the right state of mind. Kudos to you and I wish you the best of luck. You can do it !!!

ROTFLMAO!!!!! OMG This is hilarious!!!! Not the scenario. But you being so upset. I especially loved when you said... and I quote... "somebody is going to get their ass chewed out today"!!!! Bwahahahahaha. I'm sure it'll work itself out. I was upset the other day because I was 7 days away from surgery and the hospital called me talking about they want to do an EKG and they want a letter from my PCP doctor saying she gave me a pre-op physical... SAY WHAT!!!? I was never told either one of those were a requirement for me beforehand and now 1 week before surgery you want to call me with that BS and think I'm supposed to schedule appointments at the last minute!!? NOT HAPPENING!!! Luckily, I already had an EKG done in January so I faxed a copy to them and I told them I would not be going to my PCP. So they said they will use the last visit with my surgeon as a pre-op physical. Fine with me!!! Moving right along. So yes, sometimes these people are incompetent. But stuff happens. I also ask for a copy of my records the day of. Next time just make them print out your EKG's and you take a copy with you. I'm sure it'll work itself out. Don't make your blood pressure rise. But, trust, I know how you feel!!
