  1. Congratulations Norma!!! I'll bet you feel great, cuz I know I would!!!
  2. Oh my goodness I know! Isn't he (Andrew) just the cutest!!! And that accent! RAAAOOOOW!!!
  3. OMG that's sooooo hilarious!!! I think I would've lost it too! But in all fairness, it does kind of sound like something kinky, doesn't it! He he he!!!
  4. I would do the Swan if it wasn't such an extended stay away from home. But that's what would deter me from it right there. I'd miss my son too much! I would love to go on What Not To Wear after I lose all of my weight, and Extreme Makeover would be awesome too - after losing all of my weight of course. The only thing I'd have to do is wait until I was done having children. I'm a nurser when it comes to my babies, and a boob job would definately put a damper on that, as well as pregnancy would on a tummy tuck too!
  5. Thanks SHAZ. Hopefully this'll work for you Rachel.
  6. Oh rock on! That pineapple drink sounds delish! I saved the site to my favorites so that I could check out the pizza recipie too. Thanks for sharing!!!! ~Kel
  7. I am going to Walmart today to get my Easter sunday sweater out of layaway. (Short sleeve BTW. I hope it's warm enough out for it!) I am going to look to see if our Walmart carries these Magic Bullets in the store. If so, Kelly may be putting another layaway in today.
  8. Hoooraaay!!! It worked!!!!!!
  9. I used to eat sour cream mixed in with my spaghetti. I loved it, everyone else thought I was insane!
  10. Oh my. Is there any way that you can hold off on letting your friend know until you hear whether or not you've been approved for sure for surgery? If so, then I'd definately take that route. It'll give you time to find out if you're approved for surgery or not, and can then make a confident decision from there. I cannot tell you what to do, but will say that getting my band has been in the top 3 best decisions I've ever made in my life. It's helped me to lose and keep off weight that I couldn't even get off on my own pre-surgery. And that was with eating healthy and smaller portions, plus walking 3-5 times per week. Best wishes to you in making an informed and confident decision! Hugs, ~Kelly
  11. Nancy, I just wanted to say that I'm here to support you. With being so ill since surgery, and not being able to get a fill yet, I too have struggled with getting past the 35lb. off mark. And then I was told that I have to eat a heart healthy diet now too, so I had to re-learn how to eat a 2nd time around. It was quite a challenge, but I'm learning. And I know that you're still learning too. And I know that you can do this! Heck, if I can do it, anyone can! I felt like the world's biggest loser (and I don't mean loser in a good way either) for such a long time. But it's getting better, just as it will get better for you too. I know that you and I can do this! We'll get through it, we'll go back to basics, we'll fight the good fight and we'll plow our ways on through if need be! We're strong woman and we CAN do it! If you ever need me I'm here. Send a PM, and email, whatever it takes. We'll definately get through our challenges together, and come out the other side of them better than when we went in. Lets Get Em Girl! (The pounds, that is.) ~Kelly
  12. Yeppers, Walmart has layaway. In the store itself anyway. Great ideas too Pat! Now I REALLY want one!
  13. I got my Benefiber tablets today and just took 2 of them. They have a nice orangy flavor, but a weird texture. But for 6 grams of soluble fiber in 2, I'll get past the texture.
  14. You go into the user CP (see link at top left of page) and then click on the Edit Signature link (you'll see it on the left hand side). You'll want to copy the link that you've created by highlighting it, then holding the Ctrl and C buttons down at the same time. (Make sure that you copy the BB Code link, and not one of the other ones.) Once you do that, you can paste it into the Signature box area by holding down the Ctrl and V buttons at the same time. Then just click submit and it should work for you. Good luck!
  15. Thanks Tina! Here's the link to the page for the Walmart one. I guess I just didn't look closely enough. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3611642&dept=4044&path=0%3A4044%3A4064%3A90546%3A92572#long_descr I may just have to go into our local Walmart, see if they have it there, then put it in layaway.
  16. I'm headed to the Walgreens site to see how far the closest one is to here. I'll probably either get one from there or HSN. HSN includes the juicer and blender for an extra $12. Does anyone who owns these extra attachments think they're worth the extra $$? I'm a cheapskate. LOL
  17. Thanks ladies! I'm going to look at these links in just a minute!
  18. Yes, thanks for sharing! I love to learn what makes people tick, and why they think the way that they do. Thank goodness for so many different kinds of people. Without them the world would be so blah! You're truly a precious person!
  19. I looked online at Walmart, Kmart, and Target's websites and didn't see this on any of them. There is a Walgreens being built right around the corner from here, but it probably won't open until the spring at soonest. Does anyone know FOR SURE where these can be purchased other than Ebay? I've also checked on QVC's web site too and found nothing there as well. Any help would be so very appreciated! Thanks a Bunch! ~Kelly
  20. What an eye opener! Thank you for posting this!
  21. I don't mind. You're honest and forthcoming, so what more could we ask for?!?! I'm so glad that this board can help you help others. What a blessing! Thanks for being so honest about why you're here, and feel free to dig through the old posts. Maybe you'll find even more to help those patients that you work with.
  22. Best of luck to you! I sure hope that everything will work out for you just as you want it to. I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed for you!
  23. I was going to keep silent, but I agree with Marie. As a Christian I don't go around telling people to not look up at heaven, and telling them how they should/shouldn't live their lives. I'm truly sorry that you had those experiences, and SHAME ON THEM for doing that to you! That truly saddens me. And I don't go around pushing my beliefs on others either. If someone asks me how I believe, then that's totally different. But if not, then I don't go shoving it down their throats. I know that I wouldn't appreciate someone doing that to me, thus I return the kindness and favor to them as well. I'm glad to see that you've turned out to be a pretty great person despite all of those misfortunate happenings! Sometimes people don't stop to think how they can hurt a person by what they say or do to them, even as children. Good for you girl! P.S. And contrary to some people's thoughts, most of christians don't go around claiming to be perfect either. My God is perfect, and I try to mimick that as closely as possible. I have my days where I get upset, cuss, and do other sinful things too (which proves I'm not perfect LOL) but I strive to live my life in His image as much as I possibly can. I believe that giving respect, love, kindness, and support to others is just one way that I can show love to the world. It's living by example.
  24. Good luck to you! Many well wishes for a smooth surgery and recovery both! You'll be up and at 'em before you know it! Peace -
