  1. Good luck with your surgery and a speedy recovery!
  2. Go to edit profile "general account settings" The first thing you will see is the photo upload option, upload a picture from your computer and click at the very end 'saved changes" and the picture should be up.
  3. Go for a walk today and then tell the scale to go to hell he he he It WILL pass
  4. OMG congrats!!! Amazing job!!!! Let's trade scales LOL Ok so 1 lb loss for me this week, I cheated and weight myself during the week lol Hopefully the scale will move this next week with better results. Happy saturday everybody!!
  5. The liquid diet gets easier after a few days, for me was after day 3-4. If you travel often just order broths or soups in restaurants. Sticking with your surgeon liquid diet plan is important as it will help with your recovery. The pain is variable from person to person. For me it took about 3 weeks to start feeling normal with no pain or feeling sore. Good luck!
  6. Ok so I want to start this monday but I am afraid LOL How is it going Diva?
  7. Congrats!!! wow 2 times a day at the gym? very inspirational!!
  8. How many protein shakes have you tried so far? It took a while to find one that Ilike in my Pre op Liquid diet, I was using unflavored protein powder from GNC whey protein and I blended 1 scoop with 6 oz of water and , favorite flavor of crystal light, 6 ice cubes and it was really good kind of like an icee, you can't hardly taste the protein there. Also if you like fruity flavors, try Nectar by Syntrax. They have so many yummy flavors, I been using the kiwi strawberry one
  9. Congrats!!! You look amazing!! It seems that you are doing fantastic with the exercise and everything else

  13. Is so amazing what this sleeve can do,so glad you are happy with your decision
  14. You life will change but is for good. In this life you need to do some little sacrifices to have benefits. As time passes by,you will feel better after surgery and of course you will be able to eat more, not like you used to before of course. You can still have your beer here and there in moderation. Is not like you have to give up to all the things you used to love prior surgery,is about making better choices. Stay positive, you are making the best decision ever to live longer for you and your family!! Good luck!!
  15. Awesome, welcome back and best of luck with your surgery,April is almost here!!!
  16. Congrats!!! Looks like you are doing amazing!!!
  17. Good luck!!! And keep us posted it!!!
  18. I agree with you, this surgery is not like we took a magic pill. Is not an easy journey but at least we are able to eat in small quantities now Congrats and a speedy recovery to you!
  19. Thank you so much for doing this topic . I have PCOS for years now. I am 3 months post op and I am not longer insulin resistant. For the first time in 7 years, my insulin levels are normal yay!! My periods are normal, they were irregular and really painful before. I am having some hair loss but I always had hair loss, I am lucky that I have lots of hair. I had 1 baby prior surgery,I have many cysts in my ovaries. And now I have my left tube blocked :/ I am not looking to have more children. But there is hope to get pregnant without fertility treatments. I lost about 40 lbs prior my pregnancy and that helped me to get pregnant. So after your VSG there is hope that you won't need fertility treatments even if you have cysts in your ovaries
  20. 4 am? Girl you are BRAVE!!!! You are going to be rocking this summer with the cutest bikini's I want to see the results so someday I can start too LOL
  21. What I do as soon as I get my food in a restaurant is to order a to go box, I removed all the food that I won't eat and put it in the box . So then my plate looks like I eat it all lol. Yeah is really different now to eat out post op,but we have to manage that in some way. That server sounds like she/he was really ignorant. I hope you didn't leave a tip for her/him LOL
  22. Always keep your water with you everywhere you go,so you sip and sip when you get hungry. Your pre op diet sounds like a dream lol I was not allow to do any cheese or oatmeal
  23. Well you can do it when you are ready. You must be careful with your incisions of course. I think I heard is good to wait maybe 1 or 2 weeks till you start feeling better. I think this is a personal choice so if you feel like you can do it Go for it!
  24. There is my favorite surgery buddy, yay!! You look amazing!! Love it!!!
