Getting Vsg Next Month - Looking For Advice!

Hello everyone! I'm not typically one to participate in forums, but this is pretty important so I need to get advice from others that have had the same procedure. I've decided with my surgeon to do the Sleeve procedure next month since I travel often for business and it is tough to fit follow up visits on my calendar.

I'm a little freaked out by the fact that I will be on a liquid diet for 4-6 weeks. I'm also concerned about the pain post-surgery. Any suggestions or advice?

The liquid diet gets easier after a few days, for me was after day 3-4. If you travel often just order broths or soups in restaurants. Sticking with your surgeon liquid diet plan is important as it will help with your recovery. The pain is variable from person to person. For me it took about 3 weeks to start feeling normal with no pain or feeling sore. Good luck!
