Dear Blossom, I regret you left us suddenly with out having the chance to say farewell. It would have been great for all of us if we could have squeezed in one last laugh togather. Now im wishing I would have told you how you brightened my days alot of times. A person could'nt help but be attracted to your positive spunky style. Your bright Sun Shiny personality was a joy to be around. We were gifted to have you as a friend even if it was for a short time. The pleasure was all ours. I'll treasure your memories forever. So now ...Each year when Spring finally peeks her head out and I find myself surrounded by blooming blossoms once again ... I'll think of you Blossom. Then when I see the beautiful colors they display for all to admire. And I'm taking in the beauty God gifts us with each Spring ...thoughts of your beauty will be there. Rest in peace dear Sister knowing you made a positive impact in my life and in the lives of many others on this forum. P.S. You don't have to do this right away but I was wondering if you would do us all a favor ...Once you get settled in up there of course ...could you see about saving some seats by you and put in a good word for us here at Lap Band Talk and maybe just maybe we'll all be up there with you one day having the biggest Bash ever![/color]

OMG ppl ...there are too many of us with gas issues to NOT say something to some one. It should be written (second page from the last) "If you do not have gas issues before surgery ...you WILL have gas issues after surgery. Burping is an issue with me. I can burp louder and longer than anyone I know since having this surgery. It's embarassing because I burp so often that I'll burp and not even know it. Then one of the kids will say something like "Exuse you Mom" and I'll be like "Oh, did I burp?"

Hi Kim, Another SE Texan bandster ...great! Good to hear of another bandster in this area ...hope we can all get togather again real soon in this area. Galveston was great and i'm ready to do it again!

Hi Bobby good to see your back and things are working them selves out. It's nice to hear from you and that you handled the situation with love and care...not authority and intimidation. "Remember our relationships are or should be based on trust and caring not aurthority and intimidation. I feel really good about everything now we are all together and the stress level has been returned to normal. " This is great to hear!

Intresting thread...I was waiting for something like this to emerge. You hear alot of the positves and "Oh I'de nevers" on theses forums. I'll be honest here and say I'm struggling with being happy with a man that refuses to help himself. He has a list of health issues all from overeating and he refuses to seek help. What am I suppose to do? Watch him kill himself with food? And of course I've already said everything im saying here to him plus some. Have voiced my concerns and begged him to consider help. He has asked me to pls be patient with him. I said I'de try my best. I want to liove life...I've been lethargic for many years allowing the years to pass by w/o concern for the future. I'm ready to live now. I'de prefer to live with him by my side. I told him that too. Is it too much to ask to begin living togather? To turn off the TV and go ffor a walk. To chooses active thibgs to do instead of watching another movie...Am I asking for too much? I have to do something with all this newfound energy and want desperately for my "partner" to do it with me. Hiking is no fun by yourself. Niether is strolls in the park.

Clever indeed to capture our attention with a title like that one! My insurance had an exclution also. I ended up using Dr. Spivac out of Houston and love that decision esp. after hearing all the night mare after care stories from the Mexico patients. I paid around 13,000 for the proceedure that covers 1 year after care also. I was'nt instructed to go on any particual diet except dont eat after midnight the night before surgery. Then I joined this furum and seen all there restictions and was amazed at my docs POV on things. I appreciate his profesional capabilities it does surprise me how relaxed he is about things. But I have faith that he knows what he is doing. So far so good.

Ok ppl...I have another NSV! Just this morning I slipped on a pair of my hubbys Levis! Wowie, what a thrill! It felt so D**n good to walk around the house in those pants for a few. I wanted to see what his reaction would be to me wearing his jeans and I did want him to notice me so I sashayed myself into the living room where he was. He noticed me right away...made me feel good cause he could'nt keep his hands off me then. Being toppless might of had something to do with his reaction... LOL..LOL.. Oh geoood life is so fun now...being banded is the best!

Those numbers are correct...I started at a size 32W and am down to 22-24W...I'm still a plus size gurl. Looking forward to the day I can't shop @ Lane Bryant orCathrines cause i'm too small. I've been MIA for awhile...it's that time of year again...be glad when life settled down again and the New Year begins..I have a list of things i'm looking forward to working toward this coming up year but thats a whole new thread in itself.
