  1. WOW!!! That is really amazing! I didn't keep my pants. I passed them on to a friend who was coming down the size scale and she has passed them on since.... Kinda like the traveling pants...lol! You look fabulous!!! Congratulations!!1
  2. I remember that turning point! I felt like I had moved a mountain and now this. I was just saying that if I didn't lose another pound I would be ok with it but now that I have it is so much sweeter!
  3. You will find you are also losing inches. I had my three week stall also. Your body has to have time to catch up somehow. Keep up the good work!
  4. I am so close to being a Normal Healthy Weight I can almost touch it! Two or Three more days like the last few and I will for sure be there!!! :tongue2:

  8. So I have noticed that my clothes were getting loose and things seemed to be getting smaller on my body but that dang scale was not budging. I was discouraged big time. Then came my gallbladder surgery last week Friday and I had all the fluids and swelling so I have been in the dumps for a while. I was wondering what gives. Then this morning I step on the scale and IT MOVED DOWN!!!! 155! I'm so happy!!! I know it's just one pound but that how it starts and by the end of 7 days I know I will be down at least 5!!
  9. Dehydration is nothing to play with. You may want to talk to your doctor about getting some iv fluids. It could make you feel so much better.
  10. My first cycle after surgery was awful! I thought I was going to bleed to death or die from the pain first. it has however went back to normal now and I am 5 months out. I'm hoping my recent gallbladder surgery doesn't send it crazy again. Hope it's better for you next month. :0)
  11. Congratulations on your sleeve!!! You will be feeling better before you know it. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery! :amen:
  12. Wow! You are doing so great! Keep up the good work! Running??? I wish I could run. Joining a gym next week though so maybe, just maybe I can get rid of this last 21 pounds.
  13. I just had my gallbladder removed on Friday. It is common with any wls that you can have problems with it. After all... all that fat has to be filtered out through something. I am feeling alot better now just sore and tender from the surgery.
  14. Yep! And it can also radiate into the neck and shoulders. You might want to have that checked out. Those were my symptoms to the letter.
  15. Will I have to relearn to eat again? There is pain after it out too?
  16. I have lost soooo much hair! Now I find out I have to have my gallbladder taken out too. If I lose more hair I will have to buy wigs. :`(
  17. Thanks! What was the difference in your health (as far as feeling better) after the surgery? I have a lot of back pain and shoulder pain now. Does that go away? Also, they said they counted of 30 stones.... can they still do it laparoscopic (sp) or will they have to cut me? I'm also writing all this down to ask the doctor.lol
  18. I have a great job as and Administrative Assistant and my doctor does surgery on Thursdays so I'm hoping I can be back to work that following Monday.
  19. I'm in! I want to be at goal by then! 21lbs to go! I can do this!!!
  20. Call you doctor or go to the ER! you don't want to take any chances at this point!
  21. So, I found out yesterday I have to have my gallbladder removed. Can someone tell me the in's and out's of it? How much time off work and what the recovery is? I watched a youtube video and it seems similar to the VSG so should I expect the same recovery time? Any info would be helpful. I go to schedule my appointment to have it done on January 23.
  22. You wont' lose it over night. Take a deep breath and find some patients. You will look back in a few months and say "OMG where did it all go so fast!" Promise. Hang in there! You'll do great!
  23. I just don't see how anything foreign to your body can be beneficial to your body. So very sad.
