  1. WOW! You look like a totally different person! A much happier person!
  2. Thank you so much! You are too sweet!
  3. Thank y'all so much! It's wonderful to have such an awesome support group here. I love love love being here.
  4. Congratulations and I pray for a speedy recovery!
  5. Kinda makes sense if you think about it. With all the blood vessels in you eyes, high blood pressure is bound to have some effect on it. That's kinda cool. I know weight lose has worked wonders for my headaches.
  6. I was a 38 (overflowing) DD or E in some bra's. I am still a 34-36 D Depending on the bra. When I was 12 years old I was a D so I didn't expect to lose too much. Was kinda hoping to lose some though. Just think back to when you were a teenager and that's probably where you will end up. Now that's not saying they won't be pointing in some other direction.LOL!
  7. Thank you Melanie! i will be sure to tell him. He is pretty great!
  8. You are going to do great! Just remember why you made this decision and everything else will fall into place. I know as a woman we hate to loose the things (breast, in this case) that make us who we are but in the end, we have to do what is healthy for us. Even if you lose what you have, know there are always alternatives.
  9. Oh my goodness. I remember when my girls were little and could do that. So sweet! Congratulations!
  10. Be careful! Don't do too much too soon. I know everyone is different but I started exercising too soon after and pulled some internal stitch that killed me for nearly two months!( I still have no feeling next to my belly button) Make sure your doctor says it's ok. I know how exciting this process is but please take care of yourself. Good luck!
  11. Thank you so much! Sometimes it's just nice to hear "good job". You are doing an amazing job yourself!
  12. No that's a great question!! Those are all me. They were very much bigger to begin with but I think what I lost and what I kept evened out very well. I was told that if you had them before you gained the weight you were looking to lose, you would probably keep most of what you had. That was the case for me. That all being said... I have a great VS bra on and it helps keep the girls where they should be. I'm a little worried about the fall they have taken but my BF tells me they are still perfect.
  13. So I haven't seen the scale move in about three weeks. This can be somewhat discouraging considering I only have 11lbs to goal. However, my cloths are getting bigger and bigger. I'm in a 5-7 jean now and it is a little strange for me I have to say. I don't know that I want to get much smaller. Is that weird? I'm at a normal healthy weight. I am exercising now and my muscles are toning up very nicely. I started this because I wanted to get healthy and I know I can still lose more but I don't want to start looking sick, drawn up, and old. Here are some before and afters. Tell me what you think. The last three are from today.... In the last one I was only trying to give you and idea of how thin I am under the shirt. Sorry about the tummy showing.
  14. I tried that.lol I have bruises everywhere. I'd sure hate to tell him to simmer down.... I kinda like it the way it is.
  15. I'll be watching this also. I'd like to know. And yes OUCH!!!
  16. I lost my entire butt! Yes it hurts! I didn't know my tailbone was so sharp!
  17. My daughter who is a size 1-3-5 in jeans walking in my room and hands me a pair of BKE jeans that were just a little too big for her and said if they fit I could have them. Guess what... They fit! lol Just knowing that she thinks I would be close to her size is a huge compliment for me. She is a 15 yr old (pretty self centered) topical teenager.LOL
  18. I love the Houston Livestock and Rodeo! I'm trying to get down there very soon!
  19. I think someone complained about the boinking banana's
  20. Actually.... it sounds like you had the lap band done. Everyone I know who has had that procedure has had the same out come post op as you have explained. Not much lost and then the gain back... not to mention the constant throwing up kinda sound like a fill was too tight. Are you sure they did the right procedure?
  21. Zumba Toning. 2lbs weights have done wonders for my flabby arms.
  22. I am so sorry you had this experience. No one should have to go through that with ANY SURGERY. I pray that you are recovering well.
  23. You are doing fabulous and before you know it you'll be at goal looking back and laughing about this post.LOL
  24. I had this feeling too! My daughter made fun of me calling me squishy. It's just that fat is breaking down to be released and finally remove itself from your body. Yucky feeling I know but it's a good thing. I'm 11 lbs to goal and I don't have that feeling anymore.
  25. I know it is very painful. This issues was the only reason I told the pain meds that were sent home from the hospital. Most of the time I hurt was when I bent over or was getting up and down. When I laid down it seemed to go away. Just take it easy..or easy as you can. If it still hurts talk to your doctor and see if he can get you something for the pain. Whatever you do don't try to deal with it because no one should be miserable through this process and your doctor will help most of the time.
