  9. I have such a great boyfriend! So for the first time since I have been sleeved my boyfriend said something about my weight all on his own (without me dragging it out of him..lol). We were at his family reunion this weekend... He was sitting on a bar stool type chair and I walked up beside him and he put his arm around my waist. He look at me like he was surprised. I asked him "What?", he said "I can't believe I can put one arm all the way around your waist." It made me feel really good. It also made me feel better about not being able to eat all that great food and desert that his family made. However, that wasn't the part that made me cry. We went to a trail ride dance after the reunion. He asked me to dance.....I just posted I wanted to start dancing again..... While we were dancing he told me how proud he was of me, and that he always thought I was a beautiful woman but now I have a new glow about me that everyone has commented to him about. He said he felt like he was the luckiest man in the world. My whole life I have wanted to hear that. I just started balling like a baby. It sure made me feel good. BTW.... I have a really good looking boyfriend and for the first time since we have been going out this weekend was the first time another woman didn't come up to him and ask him to dance. However, his friends asked me all night.
  10. Oh My Gosh! That is truly wonderful! Congratulations and keep up the good work!
  11. I have done the one thing I looked forward to and that was getting on my horse without the help of a step ladder or a tail gate........ But...... Now I'm ready to go dancing all night and not get tired. I love western dancing and was really good at it big and small. Being big limited me though and I want to get out there and have a good time again!
  12. It's the little things that count!!!
  13. Oh WOW!!! That is AMAZING!!! Congratulations!
  14. So I have a NSV that I noticed this morning and didn't realize I was even doing it until my daughter said something. We were driving to school this morning and she looked over at me and said "Mom, Is it really safe to be driving with your foot in the seat like that?" Then I realized it. There it was.... I had slipped my foot out of my flip flop and put my foot on the edge of the seat and was driving like that. Safe maybe not, but let me tell you this, coming from someone who use to worry about the steering wheel touching my tummy when I was driving, to having my foot in the seat with me, it was a huge victory. I almost took a picture of it but I figured it wasn't a good idea.lol I'm feeling better and better every day. Walking, running and just moving in general feels so good. I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!! PS... If you are thinking about having the sleeve done, don't wait! Do you and your body a favor and DO IT!!!
  15. That's wonderful! Can't wait until I'm right there with you!!!
  16. I love this! Just today I noticed my thong is in the right place and not being hide by my fat rolls.LOL! I even took a picture of it!
  17. You might just want to start off with something like.... Hey I have a friend that had this done and was wondering what you thought about it.... Make it not so much about you at first to feel him out. Wouldn't it be great if he said " whatever makes you happy".
  18. I want to be able to see my future grand babies come into my life and have a chance to roll around on the floor and play with them. I want my children to be proud of me again. I want my doctor to be proud of me, but most of all..... I want to be proud of me.
  19. Just curious if this person is on the heavier side also. If so, it may be a great conversation piece and he might even get the sleeve too. Not only that but there are so many questions to ask yourself..... Like, Will he still be attracted to me when I'm thin, or vice verse. Will you be ok with him being heavier when you are thin and getting a lot of attention from other men? You never know...Some of those questions can save you a lot of heartache in the long run.
  20. You have lost 61.6 lbs in 6 months and that is awesome!! I hear losing slowly helps your skin stay tighter. That is sure a benefit of losing slow. I lost fast at first and now I feel like jello.
  21. I feel a ton better really but wouldn't recommend it for anyone else.LOL!
  22. I ride quarter horse western so I had a saddle horn and no excuse.LOL
  23. That is scary. That was the first thing my boyfriend said too. I just got up and got back on. I wish I had an excuse besides not riding her for a while made her kind of barn sour. She was ready to go home. I rode yesterday and she did great though. I find it's the best relaxation for me. You should see my horse, my dog and I just out riding. I also have to say it the sleeve has changed everything for me. It is so much easier to get on my horse and ride. I am so please. Glad you didn't fall off.
