  6. On the 21st it'll have been 2 years since I got my band. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I've lost 156 pounds and am 10 pounds to my goal. I'm having a lower body lift on the 20th. I have had my struggles and had to have a port revision 6 months out, but I wouldn't trade my band for anything.

  8. My PS said that the skin is too thin and stretched to be a good quality to use for any type of skin grafting. Of course, this is only one Doctor, you could call around to see if anyone was accepting skin from a procedure like a LBL or TT. I doubt they would take it but what do I know?

  17. I'm having a Lower Body Lift in one month. My cost is $8,900. My surgeon works out of Post Falls, Idaho. I did have to have a pre-op EKG and lab work. My EKG was $159 and haven't gotten the lab bill yet as I just got them drawn yesterday.
  18. Too cold to walk to the gym. Elliptical: 7.41 mi., 90 min. Treadmill: 2.51 mi., 30 min. 1 month 'til my lower body lift, the countdown is on!

I won't be posting my exercises for a few days as I'll be pulling some 12-hour shifts and trying to squeeze in some exercise and still be able to get some sleep.   21. Walked to & from the gym: 3.14 mi., 35 min. Elliptical: 7.15 mi., 90 ,min. Not as long of a workout than I'd like, but going in for my Pre-Op EKG today, so I had to get home to hit the shower and get to Hospital.
  22. Walked to & from the gym, took short-cut as it was :rain:: 2.76 mi., 33 min. Elliptical: 7.05 mi., 90 min. Wt. Training: 33 min. Treadmill: 1.95 mi., 31 min.
  23. Walked to & from the gym: 3.48 mi., 38 min. Elliptical: 5.05 mi., 60 min. Wt. Training: 39 min. Treadmill: 2.56 mi., 31 min.
  24. Elliptical: 5 mi., 60 min. Treadmill: 2.41 mi., 30 min. Didn't walk to the gym as it was raining.:rain:Hopefully I can walk tomorrow!
  25. My starting BMI was 51 and now it's 27. You can do it! Lots of people started out even higher and now are in the "normal" range. You have to decide what surgery is best for you. I was scheduled for RNY and 2 weeks before surgery changed my mind and have not regreted it.:confused:
