Yeah I saw that too.. I thought it was definitely something interesting.. Kinda threw me for a loop especially when she did the hand stand I don't know how she had the strength in her shape to do all that... If she keeps it up though - her career I'm sure she'll lose a lot pole dancing is a good workout I hear.

Wow congrats! I could barely walk down the alley and around the block from my garage to the front of my house last week. I'm hoping to make it all the way back to my garage this week - I've been working on it.. and I feel a bit better.

Yeah.. I think I'm throwing the scale away lol.. I need a lot more NSVs so I can start really seeing the change..like I personally notice some small things that seem different about my body like 'rolls' in the wrong place or moved or smaller lmao.. but would be nice if the scale could just confirm, give me a thumbs up or something that I'm doing good...is that too much to ask for? lol

I don't consider it "cheating" I consider it living. Think of what you used to eat. I could eat 2 corn dogs, probably all the fries, frozen lemonade and want desert later. You might have eaten a 1/10 if that. We have to get past feeling guilty, we can't live with that for the rest of our lives. As long as you are eating as prescribed (high Protein, low carb) 98% of the time and exercising I say go for it. Have a smidge of junk. You can't stay so rigid for ever, that's what makes us snap. Remember all our other "diets". Don't know about you but mine usually failed when I had been depriving myself for so long and I just snapped. I broke my cycle and no longer think that way.

I'm no expert, but I'm on a liquid diet now - pre-op and I'm eating 800 calories and not really that hungry. The key is to totally cut out sugary foods.. they are a cancer -they make you crave more sweets.andmore....etc.. every time I've tried low-carb I'm never really hungry and sometimes have to force myself to eat..
If all else fails -- go back to the basics try your post-op diet for a couple of weeks- nothing but liquids and Protein. It may help to reset your metabolism, and shrink your appetite.

Um.. that's kind of the point.. of sleeve -- to force you into compliance when you still "want" to eat more..
You're early on in this journey, so just take your time and have patience - it'll all be worth it in the end. I'm still pre-op, but I'm totally excited about my surgery and can't wait. I wish you the best of success in your journey!

here we go! tomorrow at 330 my lapband journey of disappointment will end. its been 5 yrs of hell and i have to admit im a little nervous but im also hopeful. i have a new surgeon and a new hospital. i believe the outcome will be much better than the band. this time around i kind of know what to expect. ive had my bag packed for 2 weeks now (think im a little anxious?!) i got my home in order so i wont have the compulsion to clean every 5 mins. , i even got a new sectional sofa to heal on as i cant sleep well in a bed now. the treadmill is set in the livingroom so when i need to walk i can hold on to something and set the pace. i have all the protein/liquids/creamys. got the nails done and facial. all my support people are waiting. hubby and my daughter are ready theyve been through the worst of this trek with me, im so grateful for them and so grateful i didnt have to do it alone. as a support he will do the liquid stage for a couple of days only because he doesnt think he can do it, but will do the creamys and up right along with me. it is so different this time.while im nervous thats to be expected im also excited, i have an incredible surgeon, a fabulous N.U.T, and an amazing therapist who is helping me deal with the mental addiction i have had with food since childhoood. food you are no longer my friend, lover, mother, nuturer you can go now. Ok Creator, im pulling the "ask, believe, receive" card. i know you hear me and will answer. so grateful! will keep my new friends on here posted!

The ingredients in Sensa aren't proprietary or anything - ie found in a lot of places. According to WebMD there's no Studies done - the company did a sponsored trial but that doesn't really say anything and those are easily tampered with. Truth be told after being sleeved you won't need any fad stuff like Sensa. I wouldn't waste your money, instead just work on getting a lot of Protein in and low calories/carbs. just my humble opinion.
