Hey hey!!! Good stats so far ladies!!! I see some amazing numbers! I had a pretty good week as well. Lost 5 pounds which is good because I have been doing 2 pounds a week the last two weeks. So, I'm down to 165 this morning!!!

Why do I keep throwing up :-(
5150sleeve replied to 5150sleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thank you guys! Sometimes I really truly forget that I don't have a normal tummy anymore until it's too late. Like I literally forget that I have had surgery and have certain guidelines and I just start stuffing my face and before I know it I have eaten too fast and too much  especially meat...it's terrible I know...I guess I have gotten too comfortable and need to remind myself to take it slow... -
Constipation?
5150sleeve replied to shezaditz@bellsouth.net's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would like to know if they are habit forming as well because I am about three and a half months out and I am still irregular  -
OMG! I throw up or at least foam pretty bad about 3 maybe 4 times a week. I'm about three and a half months out and sometimes I don't have a grip on how much to consume before enough is enough and then I end up throwing up what couldn't fit in there. Should this still be a problem after three months or am I still "early" out enough for this sort of thing....? It's so painful to say the least....

Wow!!! It's pictures like those that make us never want to go back down that road again. I'm sure it gives you motivation to stay strong and keep pushing. Good job!

How did you break your stall?

I agree with pnw218. Add something new and see how your body responds. everytime I do this, whether food or exercise, I always see better results. Good Luck! -
Naked Protein Zone
5150sleeve replied to sickofrollercoaster's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I love these things as well. These are nice carbs that shouldn't hurt you. Unless you plan on drinking like 2 of these a day LOL. I drink these to change up my taste a little, especially after a workout, they are great. Good luck. Oh! and I have found really nice coupons on these all the time so you can def. look out for them like in the sunday paper or even in your local grocery store. -

Actually starting to like exercise...
5150sleeve replied to ouroborous's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Good luck...because I literally couldn't wait and started going to the gym on day 5 post-op. Of course I kept it simple and moved up gradually but I just had soooo much energy and was very impatient. Lol -

Yah!!!!! I'm so happy you are enjoying your walks! That is sooo great! You are doing awesome! Exercise can be so exhilirating and it really does wonders for daily mental stability. I feel sooooo uplifted for the day after a good workout. Keep it going, you are on a ROLL! -
Energy level???
5150sleeve replied to pastorgregumc's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree with Ouroborous about going overboard with the "no-carbs" thing. I guess everyones body reacts different to different diets but I just could not do extremely low carb. Especially with the level of intensity and duration that I work out. When I tried under 30 grams per day, I felt lightheaded and extremely low energy. There were times that I couldn't make it through my full workout and even times I blacked out in the shower after coming home from the gym. I was miserable, not to mention scared. I doubled my carb intake to about 60g per day and I have been feeling awesome! Weight loss has not stalled, not once! And I am able to last through my workouts and even exceed what I set out to do!!! I am making wonderful progress and feel great energy wise. One thing though--I center my carbs around times when I'm expelling the most energy. Before and after workouts I intake the most, then for lunch I have some in moderation like a sandwhich on 1 piece of bread or a homeade pizza. Never do I have carbs for dinner before going to bed unless it's a couple ounces of veggies that I have with some protein. I lose about 3-4 lbs. average a week and I'm 3 months out. Good luck with that energy! -
Awesome!!! It's one of the best feelings in the world to know that you don't have to see that 2xx on the scale ever again as long as we keep doing the right thing and keep using our tool wisely for the rest of our lives yah!!!!!! Keep it up!
