Why do I keep throwing up :-(

Thank you guys! Sometimes I really truly forget that I don't have a normal tummy anymore until it's too late. Like I literally forget that I have had surgery and have certain guidelines and I just start stuffing my face and before I know it I have eaten too fast and too much  especially meat...it's terrible I know...I guess I have gotten too comfortable and need to remind myself to take it slow...
  7. OMG! I throw up or at least foam pretty bad about 3 maybe 4 times a week. I'm about three and a half months out and sometimes I don't have a grip on how much to consume before enough is enough and then I end up throwing up what couldn't fit in there. Should this still be a problem after three months or am I still "early" out enough for this sort of thing....? It's so painful to say the least....

    Constipation?

I would like to know if they are habit forming as well because I am about three and a half months out and I am still irregular

How did you break your stall?

I agree with pnw218. Add something new and see how your body responds. everytime I do this, whether food or exercise, I always see better results. Good Luck!

    Naked Protein Zone

I love these things as well. These are nice carbs that shouldn't hurt you. Unless you plan on drinking like 2 of these a day LOL. I drink these to change up my taste a little, especially after a workout, they are great. Good luck. Oh! and I have found really nice coupons on these all the time so you can def. look out for them like in the sunday paper or even in your local grocery store.
  12. It's moments like these that make you never EVER wanna go back down that gruesome road again right!!!
  13. Good luck...because I literally couldn't wait and started going to the gym on day 5 post-op. Of course I kept it simple and moved up gradually but I just had soooo much energy and was very impatient. Lol
  14. Yah!!!!! I'm so happy you are enjoying your walks! That is sooo great! You are doing awesome! Exercise can be so exhilirating and it really does wonders for daily mental stability. I feel sooooo uplifted for the day after a good workout. Keep it going, you are on a ROLL!

    Energy level???

I agree with Ouroborous about going overboard with the "no-carbs" thing. I guess everyones body reacts different to different diets but I just could not do extremely low carb. Especially with the level of intensity and duration that I work out. When I tried under 30 grams per day, I felt lightheaded and extremely low energy. There were times that I couldn't make it through my full workout and even times I blacked out in the shower after coming home from the gym. I was miserable, not to mention scared. I doubled my carb intake to about 60g per day and I have been feeling awesome! Weight loss has not stalled, not once! And I am able to last through my workouts and even exceed what I set out to do!!! I am making wonderful progress and feel great energy wise. One thing though--I center my carbs around times when I'm expelling the most energy. Before and after workouts I intake the most, then for lunch I have some in moderation like a sandwhich on 1 piece of bread or a homeade pizza. Never do I have carbs for dinner before going to bed unless it's a couple ounces of veggies that I have with some protein. I lose about 3-4 lbs. average a week and I'm 3 months out. Good luck with that energy!

    joke of the day

I Just Ate All Your Peanuts A man visits his aunt in the nursing home. It turns out that she is taking a nap, so he just sits down in a chair in her room, flips through a few magazines, and munches on some peanuts sitting in a bowl on the table. Eventually, the aunt wakes up, and her nephew realizes he's absentmindedly finished the entire bowl. "I'm so sorry, auntie, I've eaten all of your peanuts!" "That's okay, dearie," the aunt replied. "After I've sucked the chocolate off, I don't care for them anyway."

    Carbonated Drink question

I had my first diet pepsi at my 3 month mark which was two days ago:001_tongue: and it didn't bother me at all. I was a diet pepsi feind just like you are on dr. pepper and it was hard but I was scared of having one too early. So now that I know it's ok, I'm just gonna limit myself to one diet pepsi a week

    joke of the day

Baked Beans Once there lived a man who had a passion for baked beans. He loved them, but they had a lively reaction on him. Then one day he met a girl and fell in love. When it became apparent that they would marry, he thought to himself, "she is such a sweet and gentle girl, she will never go for this kind of carrying on." So making the supreme sacrifice, he gave up baked beans. They were married shortly thereafter. Months later, his car broke down on the way home from work, and he had to walk home. On the way home, he went into a small cafe and called his wife and told her that he would be late because he had to walk home. After making the call, he smelled baked beans in the cafe. They were the best beans he had ever smelled! He could not resist and had three large orders of baked beans. All the way home he had gas. His wife seemed excited and somewhat agitated to see him, exclaiming,"darling, I have the most wonderful surprise for dinner tonight!" She blindfolded him and led him to his chair at the dining room table. He seated himself. Just as she was about to remove the blindfold, the telephone rang. She made him vow not to touch the blindfold until she returned. Seizing the opportunity of her absence, he shifted his weight to one leg and let go. It was not loud, but as ripe as rotten eggs. He took the napkin from his lap and fanned the air about him. Things had just returned to normal when he felt another urge coming on. So he shifted his weight to the other leg and let go again. This was a prize winner. He figured that he must be done. But then he made a third fart. This one made the flowers at the table wilt! Yet somehow his wife didn't hear him. While keeping his ear on the phone conversation in the hall, he again fanned vigorously until he heard the phone farewells, indicating the end of his freedom. He was the very picture of innocence when his wife returned. Apologizing for taking so long, she asked if he had peeked. He assured her that he had not. At this point, she removed the blindfold and there was his surprise -- Twelve dinner guests seated around the table for his surprise birthday party!
